Jerusalem Old and New.
Jerusalem - Begin your journey in Jerusalem’s Old City at Mount Scopus, a site of historical significance for both Jewish and Christian traditions due to its connections to Jesus and Mary. The view encompasses the Old City and the Dome of the Rock, constructed on the site of Herod’s Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.
Explore the Old City, visiting the Zion Gate, the ancient Byzantine Cardo, and the Western Wall, a sacred site for Jewish prayers since 70 BC. Continue to the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a Crusader-restored site marking Jesus’s crucifixion and burial. The tour concludes in the New City at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum, providing insight into the tragic experiences of Jews during World War II.
Bethlehem and Jericho
Bethlehem - Travel back towards Jerusalem, passing the Judean Mountains to reach Bethlehem, the home of Jesse, King David’s father, and the birthplace of Jesus (Matthew 2:1).
Arrive at Manger Square and enter the Church of the Nativity through a small door. Built in the 4th century, this church has undergone renovations and restorations from the 6th century to the present. Below it lies the grotto where Jesus was born. Inside the church, a fourteen-point star marks the spot of Jesus’s birth, and an altar commemorates the three wise men.
Next, visit the Crusader Church of Saint Catherine, where Saint Jerome translated the Bible from Hebrew to Latin, creating The Vulgate. Finally, reach Shepherd’s Field in Bethlehem, where an Angel of the Lord informed the Shepherds of Jesus Christ’s birth on Christmas Eve.
Masada and Dead Sea
Dead Sea Region - Depart Jerusalem and travel along the world’s lowest road towards the Dead Sea and Masada. Along the way, catch a distant view of Jericho, known for Jesus’ miracles and Joshua’s conquest. Pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan, associated with the parable of kindness.
Arrive at the Dead Sea, famous for its high salt content, and continue to Masada. Instead of the ancient Snake Path, take the cable car to Herod’s mountain fortress, witnessing the site of a Roman siege that ended in a tragic Jewish mass suicide.
Return to the Dead Sea, observing the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David sought refuge, followed by Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Conclude at the Dead Sea, renowned for its therapeutic, salt-rich waters, offering a unique floating experience celebrated worldwide for its mineral-rich properties.

Nazareth Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal site
Nazareth - Upon entering Nazareth, visit the Church of the Annunciation, built on the site where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, announcing she would bear a son named Jesus (Luke 1:26). Adjacent to this church is the Church of Saint Joseph, located where Jesus’s father had his carpentry workshop.
Capernaum - Depart Nazareth and arrive at the Sea of Galilee, passing Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine. Approaching the Mount of Beatitudes, reach Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee’s shore, where Jesus walked on calm waters (Mark 4:35-41). Visit the site where Peter lived and the Church of the Multiplication.
Yardenit - Passing the city of Tiberius, named after the Roman emperor, enjoy an inspiring view of the Golan Heights. Proceed to Yardenit, located on the banks of the Jordan River, flowing from the Sea of Galilee. The Yardenit baptismal site welcomes over half a million tourists and pilgrims annually, who come to experience the spirituality and beauty of the River Jordan, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
According to Christian faith, the Jordan River Yardenit is considered the third most holy site in the Holy Land, following the Nativity Grotto in Bethlehem and Golgotha in Jerusalem, as it marks the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. The site offers 12 separate baptismal pools, allowing different groups to conduct private worship ceremonies comfortably.

Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, Rosh Hanikra
Caesarea - Departing from Tel Aviv, head north along the Mediterranean Sea’s coastal road, passing Herzliya and Natanya, eventually reaching the ancient ruins of Caesarea Maritima. Built by Herod and named after Caesar, the Roman Emperor, the ruins reveal a once prosperous and luxurious city. Archaeological excavations display gateways, a moat, walls, and rooms. Explore the Roman amphitheater, which still hosts performances by international artists today, thanks to the sea sand that preserved the structure for centuries. Nearby are the remains of a Hippodrome and a Roman temple. From here, view the port, once bustling with merchant ships transporting treasures to and from Rome. After the Roman period, the city was neglected for centuries until the Crusaders arrived, but it was again left in neglect.
Haifa - Next, travel to Haifa, a city on the hills of Mount Carmel. Visit the Baha’i Shrine and gardens at the mountain’s foot. The Gardens extend upward about a kilometer, covering 200,000 square meters with beautiful flowers in glorious colors. Two streams cascade down the mountain through steps, terraces, and bridges, creating a stunning sight. The Gardens blend various nationalities, including Persian gardens from Shiraz and Iran, Indian gardens, and English Gardens.
Continuing northward, visit the city of Haifa, located on Mount Carmel’s slopes. Explore the amazing network of limestone grottoes (caves) formed by underground earthquake shocks, crashing waves, and erosion, creating a natural wonder.
Rosh Hanikra - The tour then reaches the northern border where Israel meets Lebanon, and the sea crashes against Rosh HaNikra’s white cliffs. Over millennia, nature has carved a labyrinth of tunnels and caves in the rock. The reflection of the white rock onto the blue water creates a magical turquoise color. Once accessible only from the water, tourists can now take a cable car down to the caves.
Acre - On the return journey to Tel Aviv, stop by the city of Acre (Akko), situated on the Mediterranean Sea coast with a natural harbor. It is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, dating back to the Middle Bronze Age, around 4,000 years ago. Many historical sites still bear discoveries, and reconstruction continues thanks to further archaeological excavations. The ancient city walls provide fortifications surrounding the city and have been reconstructed over many centuries. During the 20th century, this northern fortification of Acre’s citadel was used as a prison and gallows for Jewish Zionist resistance movement activists.
