Lions & Tigers & More! - Barbara was a great guide who did a bit of a city history tour on the way out to the Safari location. Once we got there, the first activity was getting into the truck/cage and driving through the area where the lions are and then the tigers. Cats are cats, no matter how big, and you can't make them do anything. That being said, the lions didn't come over to eat from our truck, but it was first thing in the morning so they were rolling around in the sun and vocalizing, which was super cute to watch! The tiger, one was still asleep and the other one was more interested in the little boy that was taking pictures of him from the hotel/bungalow side, but it was great to be able to see a white tiger! After that, you're given free time before the next tour so you can walk the property and look at all the rescued lions, tigers, puma, and all the other animals they have besides just big cats. The next Tour was on a little car that had a feeding trough in front of your seat with hay, and they pulled up into the enclosure and the animals came and ate out of it in front of you. They had a giraffe who ate by himself, but the goats, the deer and the llamas all came up and devoured everything in that trough! It was great to see and fun to be able to feed them, too! We had a little free time after that and then it was back on the van to Santiago. Barbara effortlessly changed from English to Spanish, and even came on the tour with me to Translate. Our driver, Robinson, was great as well! Great way to see some beautiful, rescued animals! Bravo to the Sanchez family

Safari - The safari with Maria Paz was excellent! The guide was very friendly! They were very punctual. We had no problem or anything to complain about.

Best agency to make the tours - Great experience!!! Guia MARAVILHOSO, Daniel. Very kind and helpful. He speaks very well Portuguese and guides correctly in all situations. I recommend you take tours with the agencies, it's safer and more comfortable. I'm referring to Lucero Travel. They are excellent in all respects. Respond to the whats promptly and late. The driver Thomáz also very careful. I recommend you take the trip to the Safari, it is an unparalleled experience.

Zoo/Safari - Our guide Niklas was great! Driver was awesome too. The experience that close to lions was very cool and exciting. One thing I had wish I knew prior to booking is that it definitely more of a zoo than true wild life. Which maybe I just didn't realize it. However, I do not regret my visit but, felt the need to make sure to review incase you're looking for more of an organic wild life experience this is more zoo like. Which may be good if you are nervous about wild life as it's more controlled. Either way- had a good day and it's definitely something we don't have where I am from.
