Landmannalaugar - The journey begins in the morning as we depart from Reykjavík, embarking on a delightful drive through Iceland’s stunning landscapes to reach the Landmannalaugar area.

Upon arrival in the highlands, an expert snowmobile guide provides a brief orientation on the safe operation of the snowmobiles. This is followed by several hours of exhilarating snowmobiling!

The adventure continues as we arrive at our mountain hut in the Landmannalaugar region, Hrafntinnusker. Here, the guide prepares a traditional mountain BBQ and shares entertaining stories.

After a pleasant evening, we rest in anticipation of an exciting day of snowmobiling ahead. But first, we will keep an eye out for the mesmerizing Northern Lights!

Landmannalaugar - With the sunrise, a new day begins. After breakfast, the expert snowmobile guide outlines the day’s itinerary.

Following an exhilarating day of snowmobiling, we proceed to our pick-up vehicle, which will transport us back to Reykjavík.

We anticipate returning to Reykjavík by evening.

For those whose accommodations are outside Reykjavík, arrangements can be made for pick-up/drop-off at other locations. Please note that additional charges may apply for distances beyond Reykjavík. Contact us for further details.

If you’re an experienced sledder and want to test your ability while exploring new terrain, let us take you where we ride on our days off. We’ll show you how to play safely in the mountain terrain while you explore some amazing sledding areas. This is not a follow-the-leader type trip; we’ll take you on an adventure! Each day your experienced guide will take you out for an advanced snowmobiling expedition. Depending on weather and ground conditions, our guide will decide where it’s best to go each day. By doing this, we can offer you the best day possible of snowmobiling adventure. You’re guaranteed to find the best snow and least crowded trails! All our guides are fully trained in First Aid and Avalanche Terrain and Rescue. Groups are kept small, 5 sleds per guide so the trip moves right along.
