• Fjallabak Nature Reserve - The journey to our first stop will take approximately 2.5 hours. While the initial segment is on paved roads, the latter part involves navigating backroads and tracks.

This is why the tour is conducted in a specially modified Toyota Land Cruiser.

Amidst isolated and barren landscapes, the drive will be on rugged roads, far from civilization. These roads will eventually lead us to cross several rivers.

• Ljotipollur Lake - Before embarking on the hiking adventure in Landmannalaugar, there will be a stop at Ljótipollur.

Ljótipollur is a vibrant crater lake. Its name translates to “The ugly pot,” which clearly does not do justice to the crater’s stunning beauty.

• Landmannalaugar - The final destination is reached: Landmannalaugar.

This volcanic area in the Icelandic Highlands is a true hiker’s paradise.

With the guide, based on preferences and weather conditions, one or two hikes can be chosen from the many available.

The following are highly recommended:

• Hike towards Bláhnúkur:
  The most challenging, yet the most rewarding!
• Hike in Grænagíl and Laugarhraun:
  Among the easiest in the area. This hike offers a comprehensive view of Landmannalaugar, featuring lava fields and fumaroles.
• Hike to Brennisteinalda:
  This hike is a perfect balance between the other two and can easily be combined with the latter.
• Sigoldugljufur - On the return journey, there will be a stop to admire the numerous waterfalls in the Sigöldugljúfur canyon.

This canyon, featured in the Netflix series “The Witcher,” is also known as “The Valley of Tears.”

• Iceland - The drive back to the hotel will take approximately 3 hours.
