Great day for a ride - Great day, while long it was enjoyable because the bus driving kept us laughing with Jokes and information about the area. The crazy roads and small tunnels provided an experience all by itself!!

Wonderful experience! - We loved letting someone else do the driving who knew where to go so we so we could sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our driver was GARY who was absolutely fantastic! He went out of his way to find out where the buffalo and burros would be that day and drove us right to them. We saw hundreds of buffalo up close--truly an awesome experience. We were able to feed the burros as Gary had stopped prior to get the burros some treats (carrots) that he passed on to the bus riders so they could feed them. He was also extremely knowledgable about the area. and told many jokes. I can't say enough good things about Gary. I've been on a lot of tours and Gary was by far the best!

A great day! - We had a great experience with Gary as our tour director! He is very personable and knowledgeable, keeping us entertained the whole day. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore, had lunch stop at Custer State Park lodge and also did the Custer State Park wildlife loop - seeing buffalo and pronghorn along the way. The afternoon was thrilling as Gary expertly drove Needles Highway and through the tunnel…wow! What an experience. It was Sturgis Week so the motorcycles were everywhere!Crazy Horse Monument has a long way to go, even after 80 years of work, but one can imagine what it will look like when done. We finished our day with the dinner show. The dinner was basic cowboy fare (not very tasty) - beans, chicken or beef, potato, applesauce and spice cake served with lemonade, tea or coffee. Now the show…that was fantastic! A good variety of old country and country rock by talented performers. We are definitely glad we booked the tour.

Excellent experience. Responsive staff great driver. - Our driver Bill was great. We did an enormous amount of sizing on our nine hour bus trip. It ended with a lovely chuckwagon dinner and an absolutely amazing band after dinner. I would highly recommend this if you have only a short time in South Dakota.
