Setting Sail on the Speed Catamaran

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the visit to Maya Bay, made famous by the movie “The Beach.” The bay was as breathtaking as I had imagined, with its towering limestone cliffs and crystal-clear waters. We had access to a group photographer, which was a nice touch, allowing us to capture the moment without distraction. The later start of the tour meant fewer crowds, making the experience feel exclusive and intimate.

A Sunset to Remember

As the day drew to a close, we made our way to Pileh Lagoon for a scenic longtail boat ride. The emerald waters, surrounded by towering cliffs, were a sight to behold. Snorkeling at Viking Cave was another highlight, with the vibrant coral and diverse marine life providing a feast for the eyes.

The day ended with a sunset BBQ near Maiton Island. While I was ready to head back after the excitement of Maya Bay, the stunning sunset views were a fitting end to a perfect day. The sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, reflecting off the calm waters, creating a scene of unparalleled beauty.
