Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo - Constructed at the end of the 5th century, the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo was commissioned by Theodoric, king of the Ostrogoths, to commemorate his victory over the Roman officer Odoacer in 493. It initially served as the Palatine Chapel, used for the sovereign’s religious functions.

Domus dei Tappeti di Pietra - The Domus of the Stone Carpets is one of the most important Italian archaeological sites discovered in recent decades. Particularly remarkable is the mosaic of the “Dance of the Geniuses of the Seasons,” located centrally, depicting the Seasons dancing in a circle to the sound of a syringe.
