The Island of Itamaracá boasts numerous beaches, most featuring calm and clear waters. A popular tourist spot on the Island is Praia do Forte Orange, where visitors can take a boat or raft to the Crown of the Plane. The Island offers both serene, less crowded beaches and livelier ones. For instance, Jaguaribe is home to bars and restaurants and hosts the traditional Ciranda da Lia performance. It is located 49 km from Recife, accessible via BR-101 Norte and PE-35, after Abreu and Lima.
