• Candy Cane Mountain - The Candy Cane Mountains are a mesmerizing, red-pink and white striped area of exposed rock located in the Northwest of Azerbaijan. The deep red color of the mountains is due to iron in the ground, while the white parts are composed of powdery shale. These elements have mixed together underground through a geological process, forming layers that, when exposed to the elements, have eroded into a stunning and unique sight.
