The operator can also provide snorkeling lessons for those feeling adventurous. Additionally, the operator is happy to share stories from the TV show they are part of. This tour is both educational and informative.

As you enter there will be a booth with a gate that will raise up automatically as you approach it. Drive straight through all the way to the end of the parking lot and look for Gary. He will be waiting for you. :)

Excellent Kayaking Guide - I highly recommend and hope to go on another trip soon. Gary Golding is an excellent guide. He knows so much about the area, wildlife, and kayaking. He is fun, patient with learning kayakers, and gives a great tour.

Great for Groups/Kids - An absolutely unique and incredible experience! Gary made this super seamless/easy - we had 2 seniors, 2 adults, and 2 kids (4, 6) - and he was able to connect/tow kayaks, have double kayaks, etc., in a way that everyone was able to enjoy. He taught my daughter how to snorkel and she got to hold an octopus, sea snail, and se lots of fish in a VERY safe/protected bay. Gary is extremely likeable, go with the flow and just a joy! Completely recommend this!!

Gary, Garabaldi, and Great Vibes! - My husband, Matt, and I had an unforgettable time on our kayaking and snorkeling tour with Gary! The water was warm, calm, crystal clear, and perfect for spotting all kinds of wildlife, like pelicans, sea lions, garibaldi, opaleye fish, and even some massive lobsters made an appearance. We even found a great new spot for adventure-seekers to snorkel at! 🦞🐠
Gary was more than just a guide; he was a storyteller, naturalist, and all-around legend. His knowledge of the area was incredible, and he had us both entertained and inspired with stories from his time living off the land during several seasons of a survival TV show (yes, that one!). 🏕️🌊
If you're looking for an adventure that's both peaceful and packed with wild encounters, you have to go with Gary. 10/10 would paddle into the sunset with him again.

We had a wonderful time... - We had a wonderful time with Gary! He was fun, generous with his expertise and time, even allowing us to kayak after the official tour ended. He even taught my son to snorkel. And we loved getting up close and personal with the sea lions. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience with Gary - Gary is AWESOME! Friendly, warm hearted and very good at taking photos! He is a celebrity in reality show and people are taking pictures with him in our trip, which is really fun! Hope to join next one with Gary!

Kayaking with Gary! - Gary was outstanding. Fun, informative and we always felt very safe. We saw and experienced more than we ever imagined. We laughed. We were amazed. It is hard to describe the excitement of the day. Fabulous, fabulous day.

Best day ever! - What a fantastic experience! Gary showed us lots of California wildlife- sea lions, crabs, starfish, hermit crabs, garibaldi fish. He was super knowledgeable about the local sea life.
We opted to add snorkeling and that was an amazing extra part of the adventure. He had all the supplies we needed ready for us, including wetsuits for the cold water. Thank you Gary, we will visit again the next time we are in southern cali!

Gary is awesome - I don't have enough good things to say about Gary. Super authentic guy with tons of knowledge about everything. He's a bit of a celebrity too.
Gary messaged me when I booked to give me info and a video. He also provided great instructions for how to prepare for the day. We showed up in swim suits with a few layers on top. I mostly just needed my T-shirt and long sleeve over shirt. Make sure you sunscreen your legs!
The tour itself is awesome. Arms length from the sea lions. Tons of cool things to see and photograph. Gary let's you paddle out in the open ocean if you want but we were too cowardly to attempt it. No thank you.
But yeah! Gary has great stories. He knows how to get awesome videos and pictures for you so it's just an amazing experience. Wifey loved it too. Gonna try snorkeling with Gary later in the year when it warms up.

Must do! - This is a must do! First the area is truly a hidden gem. Beautiful place for a picnic or just to hang out for the day, so don’t make plans for later. Gary was very entertaining as well as informative. He was great with my daughter and she hasn’t stopped talking about how much she loved the tour and Gary. You can get right up next to the sea lions and take as much time as you would like. He will cater to whatever you would like to do (kayak, snorkel, etc.) We even found an octopus and he dove right down and got it for us to see. If we are ever in the area again we will be back for sure!
