- Elafonissi Beach - This is your chance to visit one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Elafonissi is a heaven on earth, with soft white – pink sand, exotic crystal waters and cedar trees reaching the coastline. It is located in the southwestern side of Crete. We pick you up from your Hotel area around 7:30 am. We would like to remind you to be at your assigned location promptly to avoid delays. Our first stop is by the traditional village Elos, where you have the possibility for breakfast. On our way to Elafonissi you will be able to see small traditional villages combined with a typical Mediterranean scenery as well as the rugged landscape around the Topolia Gorge. Once we have reached Elafonissi, you will have 4 hours of free time to soak in the amazing sun and enjoy all the shades of blue this beach has to offer. On the way back we have a stop for lunch; here you can have a coffee, refreshments or have a lunch, if you feel like it ( not included in the price)

Definitely a must do trip in Crete! - We had a great trip, the bus ride was so convenient as the roads to Elfafonissi Beach are very windy and it was nice to be able to worry about driving those roads! If you get carsick I would advise taking some medicine before the trip due to the roads up the mountain. The driver and the lady helping us were both amazing and very kind and

Tipi topi - We booked 4 tours with Markidistravel and were very satisfied. Competent, informative, fun and entertaining. As guides we had Anastasia and Lazerus and as drivers Costa and Panos. Very happy to come back. Organization good and time on site was always absolutely sufficient for bathing or strolling. Totally recommended.

Elafonissi Beach Tour - Brilliant experience, Lazarus was our tour guide who was very knowledgeable, we learnt a lot from him and he made a very welcoming vibe. Carlos the driver did an exceptional job of navigating the roads to the beautiful Elafonissi beach. We’ll worth the long journey, highly recommended!

The spectacular island of Elafonisi, a stroll from Crete - What a wonderful day to Elafonisi beach. In my experience in the top 3 of the world. Michael our coach driver was superb navigating narrow mountain roads & an almost impossibly tight tunnel. Throughout the day our tour guide Lazarus kept us informed & entertained. The long trip was well worth it for an opportunity to cool down walking across the sand bank to the pink island. Don’t be tempted to stay on the busy Cretan beach, much better to find a secluded bay on the island. A gentle breeze keeps you cool as well as a swim or paddle in the Caribbean like waters. A couple of welcome pitstops for breakfast on the way and lunch on the homeway leg made for a perfect day. We were even lucky enough to watch Golden eagles magnificent score over a stunning gorge when we stopped to support local producers of honey and olive oil. If you ever visit Crete take this tour and make memories of a lifetime 🤍💙🇬🇷

Perfect Day! - A top guide with a top driver made our day beautiful. While going through the mountains to the Elafonissi beach, the guide explained us about history about nature. They stoped at 2 very good taverna where we could eat what ever we dream and also we could buy local olive oil.
Elafonissi Beach is spectacular and really has pink sand.

Enjoyable but long day - Great trip!! But it is a long day, 3 hours to the beach and back but we stopped at two really nice places for food! The trip was made enjoyable and comfortable by our guide, his soft spoken accent was comforting and he gave us a history of the area along the way. The beach was beautiful and given enough time to enjoy it, the guide told us the best place to go which didn't disappoint. It is a shame there isn't much pink sand left due to tourists taking it home. Would recommend!

Beautiful but too crowded - The tour operators were enjoyable and friendly. I liked that he shared about the history of the area and landscape. Beach was beautiful but possibly overrated and very crowded.

Beautiful beach - Beautiful beach and wonderful water. The path is quite troubled, the road very narrow and with many conditioners, but when you get to the beach forget everything ☺️
