This was a super "cool"... - This was a super "cool" excursion! Just getting to the glacier was an adventure! Emma and Oli were amazing! The best part was when they shut off the lights inside and Oli sang an icelandic lullaby! We highly recommend!! David got it there and back safely!!

Amazing views of Iceland and a fun experience - Amazing experience-views from the top of the world! The ice cave was fun but what really blew me away was the views we were lucky to go on a clear day with little wind and could see forever. So, so beautiful. The ice cave tour was fun. I am a little claustrophobic but was fine down there. They are very kind and allow you to head back whenever you want to. Our guide was hilarious and told us stories non-stop.

Unique and great experience - Went on Monday, arriving after a challenging drive. Greeted by host Mariano who took our group to the glacier (dropping off some people at the Klaki basecamp). Very entertaining host and experience in the glacier, with a lot of knowledge gleaned throughout the monster truck journey there and back (I wouldn't recommend trying to get to the glacier yourself!) as well as inside the caves themselves. The insight given by Mariano about general Icelandic culture and their unique Christmas beliefs was also really interesting whilst travelling through the bleak tundra.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience Oli made the whole trip even more interesting and exciting with his knowledge and personality. He was engaging and friendly. We both loved the experience of travelling in the converted NATO missile transporter from Husafell onto the Glacier. The fact that that the entrance to the Glacier entrance had to be dig out and the windy conditions made it even more exciting. Oli was an absolute star as he looked after my wife who had a fear of enclosed spaces. She managed to face her fears and enjoyed the whole experience. We would highly reccomend the experience.

Top experience in Iceland so far - My boyfriend and I recently took a tour of the cave with this company and we had just the most outstanding time. The tour picked us up at a convenient location and took us up to their pickup at the glacier. They gave us loaner shoes to make sure our feet didn’t get wet with no charge. Our tour guide for our group was very nice and knowledgeable and even sang a song for us at the end of the ice cave. The tour was really an exceptional experience.

Dirty windows - The experience would have been 5 stars if the windows on the bus were clean and you could see the sights the guide was talking about.

Beautiful Scenery - Unsafe & Overcrowded - Walking into an ice cave, while in Iceland, is a once in a lifetime experience. My family and I were very excited to do this, unfortunately we were let down once all was said and done. Once you make it up to the Basecamp you are met with an unorganized scene, large crowds, a dilapidated building and dirty restrooms. Trying to look past all of this we hoped that this is a minor bump in the road before we made it to the main event. However that wasn’t the case. This experience was hampered by several things, with the most prominent being overcrowding. Due to issues with some of the ice tunnels, there is only one tunnel open. That means that there is one way in and one way out. The fact that three tours were in the tunnels at one time became a major issue since sections of the tunnel are narrow. This meant that there was a lot of down time standing in larger openings waiting for people to pass. Safety was another issue. You aren’t given your ice grippers until you were in the tunnel. The walk into the tunnel requires you to walk down a fairly step, slippery slope of ice. The have some traction mats, but they are so covered in ice they don’t offer much assistance whatsoever. Finally, the tour guides seemed annoyed to be there and were borderline rude and unprofessional. They offered little to no information about the history of the tunnels and just wanted to get over with it as quickly as possible. All and all this is all about making money and not providing a safe, educational and enjoyable experience.
