• Hverfjall - driving to Hverfjall crossing will take around 10-15 minutes from the base camp. We drive around the mountain during the tour, stopping at a few spots.
• Lake Myvatn - The tour starts by Lake Mývatn, and we will explore the lesser-known, hidden gems of the nature reserve and its surroundings. Total driving time is around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Ludentshaedhir - We drive through this volcanic region.
• Dimmuborgir Lava Formations - We drive by the south side of Dimmuborgir and discover the origin of the lava that created the lava fields.
• Namafjall Hverir - We drive by the Námafjall mountain, not by the most well-known attraction but on the other side of the same volcanic mountain where very few people visit.
• Reykjahlid - We drive through the area of Reykjahlíð, arriving from the back roads.

This tour takes participants off the usual path from Lake Mývatn. Our side-by-side UTV buggies offer an excellent way to venture into the wilderness. The adventure begins at our Snowmobile and Buggy base camp near Lake Mývatn. Participants will receive an introduction to their vehicle before setting off to explore volcanoes, lava fields, deserts, and more, all guided by a local expert. Throughout the tour, there are stops for sightseeing, where participants can step out of the UTV and learn about the region’s fascinating geology and history.

The UTV buggies are simple to drive and surprisingly comfortable. All that’s required is a driver’s license and a cheerful attitude.
