Diving deeper into Iceland - The Snaefellsnes peninsula is worth seeing if you have more than a couple of days in Iceland - amazing scenery and variety of sights, and the whole area feels very secluded. I went on a small group tour which felt like the perfect way to visit this area and meet new people, and our guide, Johann, did an exceptional job of explaining what we were seeing, creating a schedule that was both relaxed but also covered a lot of ground, and making it fun. Would definitely recommend this tour to others wanting to dig deeper into Iceland.

Amazing tailored experience! 💙 - We had such an amazing trip with Oscar that we went and booked a single day to the Katla ice caves for the very next day. The trips were amazing - small in size - with the right amount of information and pace to truly enjoy the wonders of Iceland. Highly recommend for an unforgettable trip!

Additional 2 days with Troll! - We had such a great time on our 6 day tour with Heidi that we extended it to a 8 day tour, adding this adventure. Stefan was super!! We had plenty of time at each destination and he had lots of fun Icelandic facts that he shared. Super cool dude!!

Great experience - Tour guide Thales - We had an amazing time on that 2-day trip to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Thales gave us enough time to explore the beautiful sights and tips/tricks where to capture the photos. On the road he provided us with interesting facts/stories about the different areas. You could really tell, that he loved to show us Iceland. In my opinion the Snæfellsnes peninsula offers such great sights and its less crowded than the Golden Circle. I recommend this tour to 100%, which is mostly contributed to Thales experience and personality 😊

2 day Iceland tour! - My wife and I really enjoyed this 2 day tour. We stopped at many different places that each had something unique about Iceland to be experienced. And our guide Gilfy was the best, he knew so much about the history of Iceland and kept everyone interested and entertained. Would pretty much go on any tour that he is the guide!

I'd give this trip 10 out of 10 - The schedule is very reasonable, and every place is worth seeing. Driver and tour guide Jhon is very friendly and a man with a great sense of humor! I would like to thank everyone who planned this trip, which gave me a very good first impression of Iceland. This two day tour is highly recommended for first time visitors to Iceland and also highly recommended for Jhon!

A gifted trip - Really nice trip. Our driver is knowledgeable and fun, he is kind to show us all the information in Iceland. In addition, we are very lucky to meet beast weather with small wind and little cloud, so the trip is more perfect.

Dreamy Iceland, a wonderful journey - During these two days, we visited the hot springs, waterfalls, volcanic caves, black churches, black sand beaches, seals and many other wonderful sights that are unique and beautiful, like in a dream. Our guide Roki is funny and will interact with everyone and will toast us in Chinese. He also has a fantastic and beautiful song list that will describe the next attraction to go to in song. The next day my phone accidentally dropped at an attraction, and Roki immediately contacted other guides to look for it and luckily we found it. I thank you very much. I felt lucky that I was there, and on the way out Roki played a song singing Lucky, a detail that touched me and made this already wonderful journey all the more memorable that I will always remember. Dreamy Iceland, wonderful journey.

Horrible Trip - The tour guide was not considerate n did the minimum required. I had a bad experience on the seating as when I came back from a toilet break my seat was taken up n the Giude said that the couple that sat there had priority as they were a family. I objected n said that me n my wife was a family too and we sat there first. It was then, he arranged for us to sit back where we were. The tour felt like it was a bus trip. There was no mentioned of what our itinerary would be n worse still after we arrive at our hotel we were told that the hotel was full n we had to stay at another hotel where the rooms was small n we could not hv breakfast there.

The worst company in Iceland!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!! - The Trolls Expeditions company did not take adequate precautions for the accident that occurred on Sunday 22/12/2024 when returning from the tour, the bus overturned.
The company did not provide assistance, only the police took a passport photo and a bus that saw the accident on the road stopped, the tourists gave us blankets and something to warm us, it was very cold, we froze.
We were outside the bus for 50 minutes on the side of the road, standing in fear and anguish, and in great shock. The police took us to a gas station in Gardarbaer, they gave us no food or anything hot to drink, and we waited there for more than an hour.
I don't speak English very well, so a translator helped me, and I didn't really understand what was happening. I thought a doctor from there would examine us, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
The company is responsible, the conditions of the contract were not met.
On a 10-hour tour and with these conditions there was only one driver, the company did not provide two drivers, so the driver was tired.
The driver fulfilled all the functions, that's too much.
And just 24 hours later they sent an apology by email. This is not enough because they were supposed to serve us, take care of us and protect us. We trusted and hired their service so that it would be efficient and in case of unforeseen events they would also be efficient.
I felt abandoned and that is very hard for me.
Accidents on the road are very dangerous and this one was. I was in the front row with a seatbelt on. I should have had a medical check-up at that time.
That didn't happen.
What did happen was that when I arrived at my accommodation my head was shaking from the shock, I felt like I had an electric shock, I couldn't sleep, I was scared and stressed and I noticed that my right leg was in pain and swollen and my skin was also wounded (I'm sending the photos) I was only able to check it when I went to take a shower the next day. I should check if my head suffered any major damage as a result of the blow.
It is the responsibility of the Icelandic state to control companies that deal with tourists and to ensure that they comply with safety guidelines and the protocol they must follow after an accident. This is essential. A tourist from Taiwan, about 60 years old, was badly injured and was screaming in pain and complaining a lot on the bus. No one took any measures to find out what the consequences were. This is terrible.
I am a tourist born in Argentina and residing there, with a valid Spanish passport and I visited this beautiful country three times, in 2016-2019 and now I love its people and its culture and I learned Icelandic for a year in my city until my teacher stopped coming to Argentina.
I love Iceland and this is disappointing. I will have to process it because Icelanders have been kind to me and I don't understand this
I am traveling alone, I have to visit other places and this is detrimental to me. I am not sure if other pains and/or injuries will appear.
The company is responsible for the accident, for not providing another driver and/or guide for this extensive tour in such adverse weather in Iceland. The company should have assisted us at the scene of the accident and not sent an email asking us to do so. This is your responsibility. The company should also have given us shelter and/or food and checked if we had internal injuries, as is my case.
I must continue my trip for a month and my physical condition is not the same as when I started my trip and the company must be responsible for this. The reason is that it is not my fault, the one who should make the decisions so that this does not happen is the company that knows the country, the climatic consequences, the state of its workers and the conditions of the route.
For this reason I am sending this email since I am entitled to financial compensation from the company and in my favor, due to their inconveniences with the tour and the services they have not provided, due to my injuries and my internal shock.
I am 54 years old, and this is the first time I have suffered a traffic accident of this magnitude.
