- Reykjavik - The private guide will collect guests from their hotel or a designated pickup location in Reykjavík in a comfortable private vehicle. Following a brief introduction, the journey to Iceland’s renowned Golden Circle begins.
- Thingvellir National Park - The first destination is Þingvellir National Park, a significant historical and geological site in Iceland. Visitors will walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and learn about Althingi, Iceland’s first parliament. The park offers stunning views of lava fields, cliffs, and lakes, with opportunities for short walks and photography.
- Oxararfoss - Situated within Þingvellir National Park, Öxarárfoss is a charming waterfall surrounded by basalt rock formations. Guests can walk near the waterfall, capture photos of the dramatic volcanic landscape, and enjoy a tranquil moment in nature.
- Geysir - The tour proceeds to the renowned Geysir geothermal area, where the earth is alive with steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and colorful geothermal pools. The highlight is Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes, providing an exciting and memorable display of Iceland’s geothermal energy.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - The journey continues to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful and iconic waterfalls. Visitors can explore well-maintained viewing platforms offering various perspectives of the glacier-fed cascade, feel the refreshing mist, and take stunning photos of this natural marvel.
- Faxi (Vatnsleysufoss) Waterfall - After Gullfoss, there is a quieter stop at Faxi Waterfall on the Tungufljót River. This wide and serene waterfall offers a relaxed atmosphere away from large crowds, allowing guests to walk close to the water and, in summer, observe salmon leaping upstream.
- Kerid Crater - The final sightseeing stop is Kerið volcanic crater, noted for its striking red volcanic rock and vivid blue lake. Guests have time to walk around the crater rim or descend closer to the water while learning about Iceland’s volcanic history. The duration is approximately 1 hour.
- Reykjavik - After a day full of exploration, guests can relax on the scenic drive back to Reykjavík, where they will be dropped off at their original pickup location, concluding the private Golden Circle tour.
