Katla tour - Both of our tour drivers were fun, knowledgable and helpful. Axel and David were both great and I loved that there were only 7 people on our tour.

A 'must see' experience in Iceland - This tour was the best one i did on my visit to Iceland. It was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end and the tour guide named Mr Skuli Skulason was absolutely brilliant! His driving skills on the glacier were incredible and he got us safely to the entrance of the Katla Ice Cave which is an adventure in itself! Its a real adventure driving all the way to the other side of Iceland to see this incredible area which is covered in so much natural beauty. The landscape along the journey is out of this world and once you get to the ice cave to see the thick naturally formed ice it is a real treat as I had never visited a cave like it. All safety equipment is provided and the specially adapted Mercedes Sprinter van is amazing to experience in the snowy conditions as it behaves like a 4x4 Jeep ploughing through the thick snow on the glacier. The commentry on route was very interesting and the waterfalls were also awesome to see. The tour is well planned and you stop off for comfort breaks and food and the pick up was very convenient as well as the drop off. A special thanks to Skuli from 'Gravel Travel' who really made this tour fantastic! He's a great guy to talk to and I highly recommend this tour where you really get to see the hidden naturally formed treasures of Iceland -What an incredible country it truly is!

Waterfalls, Vik, Katla Ice Caves & Amazing guide! - We had an amazing trip to the South Coast and Katla Ice Cave. Our guide from BusTravel, Alain, was a wealth of information and he kept us entertained and educated us on Iceland during the drive. I can’t believe how much he knows and so grateful he shared his knowledge with us. He gave us recommendations for Reykjavík and he even sang us a traditional Icelandic Saga song! When we stopped at the Waterfall, he took us to a different waterfall that we could climb under a cave and stand beside. It was an amazing extra to the tour. On top of that, the Katla Ice Caves was truly a once in a lifetime experience. It feels like you are on a different planet driving out there. Our guide for that portion was from Gravel Travel and he was great. The caves were incredible and on the way back to Vik, our guide drove us on the black sands beach right next to the tide. Wow!! Highly recommend.

Today's experience... - It wasn't really that bad except... we need more time to see the places. To me its like always on a rush.just to use the restroom it takes almost 25 min because of the line.then by that time we are going to see the scenery, its time to go back already.its very very short time. Also, while the tour guide was actually nice, he should at least tell the people about the rules of no changing seats.we had that problem today. Someone trying to take our seat. And that's not very pleasant. We should have enough time for every place we go to. Another suggestion is that the bus drop off should be a lot closer. It always takes 5-10 mins to walk to the place, vice versa, and then it doesn't leave us a lot of time left to actually explore the areas.
