- Solheimajokull Glacier - Next step on our journey is a giant step for those that have never set foot on a glacier. Hear the ancient ice crack as you safely enjoy your hike on the glacier tongue with our certified glacier guide.
- Reynisfjara Beach - After the thrill of the glacier, we head for Reynisfjara where you can leisurely stroll along the black sand beach known for its famous basalt columns and caverns. Witness the Reynisdrangar cliffs and basalt rock stacks that rise from the sea.
- Skogafoss - We end this great day tour with a stop at the majestic Skógafoss waterfall. Here you can walk right up to the 60-meter high thundering waterfall and feel the spray on your face. You can even walk up the 527 steps to gain a bird’s eye view of the cascading water and rainbows.
- Reykjavik City Hall - We will make our way back to the capital where you will be dropped of at your selected point.

Begin your adventure with a picturesque drive along Iceland’s rugged coastline. Make a stop at Skógafoss, a breathtaking 60-meter waterfall, before preparing for a leisurely glacier hike on Sólheimajökull, where you’ll discover blue ice, deep crevasses, and remarkable formations.
Then, head to Reynisfjara Beach, where powerful waves crash against the volcanic black sands, home to the iconic basalt sea stacks. The journey concludes at Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. On the return to Reykjavík, enjoy spectacular views of Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcanoes on clear days.
- Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum shoe size is 35 EU
- Please bring warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, packed lunch, gloves, hat and good hiking shoes
- Please note that the order of the itinerary can be altered if weather conditions change
- For the glacier hike: In order to safely fit our specialized glacier crampons, guests must have a shoe size between 35-50 EU
- Hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory for the glacier hike portion of the adventure (available to rent for a fee)
- This tour is rated as easy, but guests should be prepared to walk ~3-4km over uneven terrain

Seeing the sometimes mix of bleakness and beauty made the mind race, how people before modern life survived.. - If you like your breath taken away in awe...this is a must do.... found ourselves just gazing at the beauty nature delivers. All the time our guide would tell us the salient parts, but understood that the scenery really did all the talking. It was January, and whilst beautiful, our guides upper most concern was safety, his advice, help, understanding was invaluable. Its one for the bucket list. You will not be disappointed, but will want to return.

Excellent tour. Guide... - Excellent tour. Guide Kristian was extremely knowledgeable and educated us a lot about Iceland. Only one problem: I thought I had booked just a short walk on the glacier, but it somehow got changed to a 3 hr hike.

A MUST DO! - The Glacier hike is the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life!! Daniella was a spectacular Glacier guide making sure everyone felt super safe and prepared while also making the experience informative and super fun! We were initially worried because we are not particularly athletic but we did not have any challenge hiking the Glacier because we walked at a manageable pace and had stops for photos and water breaks. While the pickup in Reykjavik was early in the morning, we found that this was the best way to experience the south coast as travelers based in Reykjavik. We could nap on the bus when we felt a little sleepy and so the long day wasn't so bad. Both of the waterfalls were spectacular to view and photograph with opportunities to walk behind Skogafoss, which was awesome. Waterproof gear and hiking boots with ankle support are a must. A warm hat and gloves and high socks are highly recommended. The black sand beach and cave were beautiful and the guide was very informative about local history along the drive. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is looking to experience Iceland's natural beauty and have an amazing day.

Amazing! Great view of multiple sites with rest in between! - Loved the guide. Funny, polite and informative. Our glacier guide was also the same. Would highly recommend with to anyone that doesn't have small children. May be difficulty with such a long day. So happy we did this!

Best experience in Iceland - We did this tour as part of the 3 Day - Iceland Bucket List Tour. The walk up Skógafoss Waterfall was a bit tiring and the stairs were a bit wobbly but worth the view from above. Our tour guide Tomasz took us to a very nice lunch spot in Reynisfjara and gave us loads of information throughout the drive.
The glacier hike was the highlight of the whole trip! Our guide for the hike was brilliant, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we don't remember her name.
The only downside was that I had to rent hiking boots because mine were slightly too low to safely put the crampons on. I wish the requirements for the boots had been better specified in the tour description as I thought mine would be good enough since they are sturdy hiking boots.

You can do it! - The glacier hike made me feel like I can accomplish anything. You must book this. The hike was manageable and views were amazing. The waterfalls and black sand beach were both great as well.

Our Favourite Day in Iceland - The whole day was well beyond expectations! Our guide Elisa was full of enthusiasm throughout, she was very knowledgeable about Icelands history/landforms and was the and was a very approachable trip guide. The actual glacier hike was truly brilliant and the highlight of our whole Iceland trip, we were lucky enough to have a private tour with Enchy (sorry for misspelling, it's a lovely name!) who was brilliant throughout, she took us on a great adventure, and seemed to be enjoying the hike as much as us.
The hike was relatively easy, but does involve occasional steep inclines; you'd get more from this experience if you have basic hiking abilities on rough terrain due to the crampons.
We'd highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Reykjavik and wanting to experience the South coast. 6/5 from us!

A really fun full day at the right pace! - Matej was a great guide, the right amount of information and personality for a great full day experience! Only drawback was having to rent boots for glacier walk as they felt the ankle support was too low on my own ones, afterwards I still think mine would have been fine.
