- Seljalandsfoss - Our first stop to start the day is at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s greatest attractions. Here you have the opportunity to walk behind the magnificent wall of water and feel the power generated by the fall.
We will also visit Gljúfrabúi and take a short hike between the two waterfalls.
Both are excellent places for a memorable photo shoot.
- Solheimajokull Glacier - Next step on our journey is a giant step for those that have never set foot on a glacier. Hear the ancient ice crack as you safely enjoy your hike on the glacier tongue with our certified glacier guide.
- Reynisfjara Beach - After the thrill of the glacier, we head for Reynisfjara where you can leisurely stroll along the black sand beach known for its famous basalt columns and caverns. Witness the Reynisdrangar cliffs and basalt rock stacks that rise from the sea.
- Skogafoss - We end this great day tour with a stop at the majestic Skógafoss waterfall. Here you can walk right up to the 60-meter high thundering waterfall and feel the spray on your face. You can even walk up the 527 steps to gain a bird’s eye view of the cascading water and rainbows.
- Reykjavik City Hall - We will make our way back to the capital where you will be dropped of at your selected point.

Begin your adventure with a picturesque drive along Iceland’s rugged coastline. Make a stop at Skógafoss, a breathtaking 60-meter waterfall, before preparing for a leisurely glacier hike on Sólheimajökull, where you’ll discover blue ice, deep crevasses, and remarkable formations.
Then, head to Reynisfjara Beach, where powerful waves crash against the volcanic black sands, home to the iconic basalt sea stacks. The journey concludes at Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. On the return to Reykjavík, enjoy spectacular views of Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcanoes on clear days.
- Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum shoe size is 35 EU
- Please bring warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, packed lunch, gloves, hat and good hiking shoes
- Please note that the order of the itinerary can be altered if weather conditions change
- For the glacier hike: In order to safely fit our specialized glacier crampons, guests must have a shoe size between 35-50 EU
- Hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory for the glacier hike portion of the adventure (available to rent for a fee)
- This tour is rated as easy, but guests should be prepared to walk ~3-4km over uneven terrain
