We had a fantastic time... - We had a fantastic time on our walking tour with Inga! She was incredibly knowledgeable about Iceland’s history, especially the amazing women who helped shape the country. We loved hearing her stories — both about the influential Icelandic women and her own experiences growing up here. Despite the chilly weather, the walk through the city was wonderful. The stop at the record shop (with a warm drink and great conversation!) was such a fun touch. Although we had to cut the tour a little short for a lunch reservation, Inga made sure we left with plenty of insight and appreciation for Icelandic culture. Highly recommend!

Women hold up half the world - and in Iceland! - The Icelandic Woman Private Walking Tour was a great way to get to know Reykjavik & Iceland, and incredibly interesting. First woman President in the world? Check. Second nation to extend suffrage to women? Check. Just elected their second woman President & nearly half their Parliament is women? Done & done. All this in addition to the colorful sagas and beautiful surroundings described by Ester E. that made this a unique & unforgettable part of my journey.
