Highly Recommend - Very informative museum and exhibitions. Please stop by this place; you won't be disappointed. This museum sheds lights on the magnificent giants found in the ocean. This museum captivates your heart and makes you an advocate for whales.

Better than expected, allow time to watch the movies - We did the Whales of Iceland museum as an add on to our Aurora museum ticket. We wish we had planned for more time here. We didn’t have enough time to watch both movies but the one we watched was very interesting. I recommend checking the times for the movies and planning your visit with enough time to watch them.

Nice - We went for Halloween. It was a nice time spent with the kids searching and having fun... You can also spend some time enjoying a coffee... there are also snacks in the small café... the souvenir shop is also interesting.

A little pricey but still fun - Went to this exhibit with our toddler. We thought it was really cool to see all the whales and my kid loved playing in the children’s area where there was something to climb and some colouring stations. We didn’t get a chance to see the show because our kid would not sit through that. We did think it was a little pricey for what you’re getting but if you’re looking for something indoors to do, check it out.

Worth seeing and experiencing - very impressive to see the animal models in their original size. Too bad Iceland hasn't officially retired from whaling and animals are still being hunted!!!

Very well with family - The kids loved seeing the real-sized marine animals. The free audio guide in French allows you to have all the explanations about cetaceans.

Whales Everywhere! - It was an interesting exhibit visually showing the whales. It provided a lot of information on the audio. Not sure if young children would really enjoy this but as all adults it was an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. We saw one documentary and it was very long.

Needs an upgrade - It’s a good place to learn about whales, with an audio guide available and two documentaries available on a full sized movie screen. It’s interesting to see full size models of the whales and the museum did a good job of arranging them. But as these are their main attraction they should invest in sprucing them up. They are poorly painted both artistically and materially. Brush marks and drips are visible and the tones and gradations of the skin are amateurish. The paint itself is dull and flat and also peeling in places. In the better lit areas of the museum you can sea dust on top of the whale models.

Overpriced and relatively poor exhibition. - Not worth it. Mock life size models of whales. Just gives you an idea of the size of the creatures and little else. Film show is just really a TV documentary. Overpriced and disappointing.
