- Classic Experience
- Premium Experience (ages 13+)
- Note: she show starts on the dot so we recommend arriving 20 minutes early
- Note: the show may not be suitable for the very youngest children (under 5)
- Note: Premium Experience is on the 2nd floor - not wheelchair accessible
- Note: Premium Experience is for adults only (age 13 and above)
- Note: it gets pretty hot in the showroom when the lava flows in (nice and toasty)

Family fun for all at the Lava Show - Really fun and informative show. We loved it. Our 9 year old thought it was great too. Really friendly team running the experience too.

Best Way to Start a Trip to Iceland - An incredible show! Fascinating and educational. I cannot recommend it enough. We did it at the beginning of our time in Iceland, which was a perfect way to get a solid understanding of what makes the country so incredible.

Last Minute Excursion and it Delivered! - I went to the Lava Show my first evening in Reykjavik and it ended up being a really fun way to start the trip which included a cruise through western portions of Iceland and Greenland. I booked a ticket last minute online and the venue was only about a 10-minute bus ride from my hotel, so getting there was no problem at all.
The show itself was pretty fascinating. They gave us a real piece of lava rock to take home, which I didn’t expect. The presenter was great. She was really knowledgeable and also entertaining. They kept everyone’s attention the whole time. Seeing molten lava up close and actually feeling the heat roll through the room was exciting. It felt very real and not just like a science presentation.
If you’re visiting Reykjavik and want something unique and a little different from the usual tours, I’d recommend checking it out. It’s a fun mix of learning, visuals, and just a cool experience overall.

Lava show - Really good experience, the man doing the talk had an amazing moustache.
He was very knowledgeable, and was entertaining.
Thought there would be more time worh the lava than what we had.

Worth checking out - The presenter was excellent, explaining the subject clearly. It was interesting, we learned a lot. The moment the lava pours down the channel the whole room heats up dramatically, it's amazing.
