- Note: she show starts on the dot so we recommend arriving 20 minutes early
- Note: the show may not be suitable for the very youngest children (under 5)
- Note: Premium Experience is on the 2nd floor - not wheelchair accessible
- Note: Premium Experience is for adults only (age 13 and above)
- Note: it gets pretty hot in the showroom when the lava flows in (nice and toasty)

A great rainy day activity in Reykjavik - This is fantastic, a literally sensational experience. The staff were so nice and knowledgeable. The setup is incredible and we really enjoyed the premium option where you get a drink included, a souvenir piece of lava and a backstage video to see how it all gets made. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar, beautiful items in the gift shop and an incredible show where you learn and experience so much.

Fun and educational! - This was one of those activities we didn't do on our first trip to Iceland when we did the Ring Road, and we are glad we added it to our itinerary while in Reykjavik this year. Both fun and educational, and great for a cold winter's day, this is one of the few places you can actually see flowing lava up front and personal (until the next tourist friendly volcanic eruption in Iceland, lol). Good for young and old, I'd recommend a visit with priority seats upstairs for the best view.

Unique experience - The Lava Show is well worth the visit; we opted for the Premium ticket - drink, upstairs seating and piece of lava rock to take away, plus got to see the furnace behind the scenes.
The staff were friendly and informative. The presentation was interesting and engaging. The lounge and bar was a nice way to start the experience. You could stand in the upstairs balcony during the show for a better view and didn’t need to wear safety glasses.

Brilliant show - To be honest this was absolutely fab. Staff was great, especially Glen. Temperatures got up to like 1000 degrees Celsius. This deserves 5 stars and worth a visit.

Very unique & educational experience - This was a very fun and seeing the lava so up close was surreal. They also teach you a lot about volcanos, and its history.
Glenn did an amazing job explaining and answering all questions that came his way by us regarding the lava and volcanoes. We learned a lot on this.
For all those who love nature or volcanoes this is a must. Where else will you get to see lava so up close?

Interesting and educational show - My wife and really enjoyed the visit to the lava show. We chose the VIP experience and enjoyed a drink in the bar/lounge, seating on the upper level and a gift of a piece of lava as we left the show. The show was extremely interesting and educational - made more so by the commentary from the Scottish presenter.

Lava, VIP style - Go for the premium experience. The show is excellent, but just the chance to be in VIP room with a drink, free lava stone and the best seats makes this a great value event. Unique in the world to see lava formed safely.

Super cool informative show - Amazing experience! We went with teenage boys. They were amazed by the extreme heat of the lava and we all learned alot. A real volcanologist ran the show.
