This was such a fun... - This was such a fun experience, highly educational. It should be noted that the trail may be a bit slippy, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes for the environmental. We were provided with a hard hat, a head light, and optional walking sticks. :)

Educational GREAT WONDERFUL tour - This was such a fun and informative tour!! Our driver and tour guide were just so friendly and knowledgeable :) the humor and engagement was truly the cherry on top. Highly recommend this to anyone 👌 it was a bit slippy getting through some of the path, so I recommend good shoes. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of our incredible tour guide, but I have Halli as the individual who messaged us :) I am hard of hearing, so I hope I got his name correct :)

An unforgettable once in a lifetime experience! - We had an amazing trip. It was made so much easier by getting a transfer to and from the location. Once there we were in awe, how often can you go in an actual lava tunnel?? Our guide was witty and knowledgeable, you could tell he had a passion for his work.

Exciting, was fun - I had booked this tour quite at short notice because the hike near Grindavik, which I had originally planned, had to be cancelled due to the eruption. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly. Also the transfer (as known from the provider Reykjavík Excursions). The tour was exciting, albeit quite entertaining for the price (longer tours are also offered - at a correspondingly higher price). The guide Alex was great! Very entertaining!

A Stunning Underground Adventure – Don't Miss the Lava Tunnel - The Lava Tunnel (Raufarhólshellir) was one of the most spectacular experiences of our Iceland trip—just a 40-minute drive from Reykjavik, yet it felt like stepping onto another planet! The tunnel's dramatic lava formations and the mesmerizing "forest" of countless tiny icicles left us in awe. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fun facts about the geology and history of the cave. Helmets (provided) are a must, and sturdy shoes with good grip are essential—some sections can be slippery! This tour is perfect for those who love unique natural wonders. It’s accessible yet adventurous, and the raw beauty of the lava formations is unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Iceland!

Fascinating experience - a true volcanic education! - Incredible experience! Guide extremely knowledgeable and fun! An education on the history and geology of how tunnels were formed as a result of the intensity of lava flow. Highly recommend!

Informative cave tour - The cave itself is spectacular and I loved the lights and darkness at the end. Erica the guide was superb and knew her stuff. The transfer was well organised and easy to connect with and they dropped us back at the bus station to connect to the transfer to the airport
