Great night thank you - Got lucky as we saw the Northern Lights on the same trip. The boat just sits in the harbour but what a show at midnight! Advice, wrap up warm & then wrap up warmer. Real feel was around -18degrees.

So many fireworks!!! - Highly recommend this for NYE!! It was beyyyond cold AF and we weren't sure what to do. Didn't want to hang outside, but really wanted to see/experience the NYE fireworks...so how do you do that? Answer: hop on a boat where you can be both indoors and out and see everything from the water! We were able to comfortably view everything from both inside the boat or outside, had a bar and bathrooms, and we even got to see the Northern Lights!! It was a very special NYE.

Best NYE! - What a wonderful way to spend NYE! Boat was nice, staff were excellent and the boat was not ‘overbooked’. Plenty of room to move around and of course the 360 view of fireworks was awesome.

Brilliant and well worth the cost - Fantastic experience. Not crowded and well organised. Iceland don’t just do fireworks at midnight it was an all night display.

Northern lights and fireworks what a NYE! - This was quite an old boat and the decorations / party stuff for NYE was a little skimpy (one party hat, NYE napkin amd one glowstick) around like a table for 6 people. However the crew were friendly and it did the job because not only did we have the fireworks we also had the northern lights come and do us a dance! Which was spectacular. So nothing posh or special but to be fair I did book the cheapest boat so possibly got what I paid for....but did the job for what we wanted.

We didn’t totally know... - We didn’t totally know what to expect from this trip but booked it to have some solid plans for NYE. We were a little skeptical as everyone was huddled in the inside deck to stay warm and they kept playing “ Sweet Caroline” on repeat. However, towards midnight we all went on the upper deck for the countdown and were collectively blown away by the fireworks. I had no idea Iceland went that hard on fireworks and the view from the water was unmatched as you could see the whole coastline. You get one glass of champagne which probably could have been more given the price point but still an incredible trip! Plus we made friends from all over the world!
