No aurora but plenty of fun - Everyone running the tour was fantastic. No aurora but the view of the city was amazing. The were making waffles on board and my son devoured one

Have the best experience in Reykjavik - We have been on an Aurora Boat Tour with another company. The boat on this tour was not big and the rooms were almost full. It may have been cancelled due to poor aurora conditions the day before and there were two days of passengers on board. Some guests didn't seem to find their chairs. (But that may indicate its popularity.) We saw the Northern Lights last night. We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and also we were very happy to see Aurora on our last night. The rooms while you are waiting are warm and there is also one toilet. The pictures were blurred 10 years ago because the ship moves up and down in the waves while watching the Northern Lights. However, modern cameras and smartphones have excellent image stabilization, and with only this ship's jolt the pictures didn't shake and we were able to capture the Northern Lights beautifully. In addition to the comments above, I would like to thank the staff who immediately responded to my request the following day after hearing the cancellation notice the day before. Their response was great and very reassuring!
