Tolle Aurorashow - The ice cave and Aurora show were very impressive!:) The staff was very friendly and helpful. With the ice creams we would have liked something like volcanic ice, glacial ice or similar, but was delicious!

Guaranteed Aurora Borealis - A great place to experience various Icelandic natural phenomenon. Beautiful building and helpful staff. On my final morning in Iceland, after the disappointment of 4 nights of cloud cover and cancelled Northern Lights tours, I finally saw Aurora! Planetarium show extremely well done, with Aurora speaking as a spirit and guiding you through her history. So glad I did this last minute museum trip, almost more like a mini vacation in Icelands highlights. Ice cave and volcano show also highlights. Nice cafe and small gift shop. Also an upscale restaurant that I was visiting too early to experience. Allow a minimum of 3 hours.

Well worth a visit, great views from the revolving restaurant. - A good way to introduce yourself to the spectacular geological and astronomical delights to be found around Iceland. Nice and educational exhibits. We’ll layer out and relatively easy to get around. A revolving restaurant/cafe offers great views of Reykjavik and surrounding areas, along with nice food and drink offerings. A good way to spend a morning or afternoon, but could be a little expensive for a family group.

Very well worth seeing. A trip of the history of Iceland - What an incredible place. Breathtaking and amazing. Such information and so well presented. The ice and fire are as brilliant. The ice caves are realistic and very cold 🥶. The Northen lights show was peaceful and beautiful. A beautiful member of staff from Belgium 🇧🇪 delighted me by telling me she was “made in Ireland 🇮🇪 “. All the staff are very friendly and polite and happy to help

Wonderful, interactive museum. - Fantastic place to visit to learn more about Iceland in an interactive environment. We spent 5 hours there, learnt lots, and enjoyed cake and a drink in the revolving restaurant. I would highly recommend adding this place place to your To Do list!

Good museum - Good museum. Lots of interactions think would be good for people with young children. Enjoyed Aurora planetarium show and Ice cave. I think the Volcano show was disappointing as just a video of a volcano erupting.

Not worth it to me - Disappointed. I was excited about the ice cave, but to me, it was nothing special. It's a man-made (of course) ice cave that was pretty, but just not very interesting. The planetarium show was decent, learning about the aurora. But when I hear planetarium, I think stars as well, and that wasn't what it was about, at all. The lava/volcano video was weird. Just footage from the recent eruption with some nice music. Nothing informative at all. Not to mention the price of nearly $50 USD--it just didn't feel worth it. I think that kids would probably really enjoy this place, but for me, it was a big nothing. That said, the restaurant is beautiful, with lovely views. But by the time we arrived at around 2:00, they were out of a lot of food. You wouldn't know if from looking at the staff though. Several workers behind the counter were eating pizza with their fingers and then helping customers. Didn't exactly whet my apetite for anything after witnessing that anyway.
