Four paws up! - My husband and I loved this tour! The guide, Bardi, walked us around city center pointing out historical landmarks and details all the while making it fun and finding the local cats! It was a nice break to visit the cat cafe for a hot drink and tasty treat while meeting the sweet cats there. While on our tour we passed much larger tour groups getting the same landmark info but without the unique experience of meeting the local fur celebrities. And, we discovered Bardi is a celebrity too as he’s listed in a Book about places to see cats while traveling. All and all this was four paws up and I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour with local cat expert Bardi! - Such a fun tour! Our guide, Bardi, was excellent and very informative. We had a great time listening to him discuss all of the cat history facts of Iceland. The cat cafe was also a blast to go to. I highly recommend Bardi and this tour, thank you!

See the cats! - We enjoyed hearing about Reykjavik cats, a little folklore, and visiting shop cats. We took the 11am tour, so most kitties were not out and about. I'd recommend a tour closer to dusk if you want to see more cats around! We ended up running into Baktus later that day 😊 My travel companion is not as much of a cat person as me but she really enjoyed the walk downtown, especially to side streets we hadn't seen yet.

Purrrrrfect!!! - We are cat lovers and just couldn't resist the campiness and pleasure of learning about Reykjavik thru the local cats. Einar led the tour for just the two of us, so it was so personal. Not only did we learn about Reykjavik, but we also learned about him personally. It was a pleasure to get to know a local thru his love of the town and cats. We saw cats thru the local artist communities' paintings. We met and petted cats in person in local shops - many with local art and goods. We saw cats roaming the streets. We had coffee and kleina (Icelandic donuts) in a cat cafe which features adoptable cats. Einar shared his extensive knowledge of the cats, the city, and the country PURRRRFECTLY. It was a pleasure to get to know him, his city and his love of all things cats.

This was a great first day activity to stretch out our plane-weary legs - We had a great time meeting the various cats while becoming familiar with Reykjavik and learning a little bit of history and folklore along the way. Stefan I was our guide, he was super friendly and made us feel welcome.

Cats!! - Our tour guide was Stefan I. He was prompt and very friendly. He gave us a little history about cats and then we walked and got to see so many adorable cats. They are all well taken care of here. We went to a cat cafe and was able to pet 5 adorable cats. He also showed us shops that have cats living in the shops and it was the highlight of the trip. If you love cats this is a must.

Great cat tour - We loved our Reykjavik Cat Tour! This was the first day of our trip which helped take some of the edge off leaving our own pets behind at home. Our guide was clearly a cat lover, and he was knowledgeable about so many things in Reykjavik. There were lots of folk tales and lore that helped us have a sense of some of the traditions in Iceland. We enjoyed meeting the cats along the way, and loved this low-key introduction to Reykjavik.

Cute tour - Tour was cute. Guide didn’t speak the best English so it was a bit hard to follow. Otherwise nice walk through city. Served average cookies at cat cafe.
