BEST Segway tour we’ve done! - This was the BEST Segway tour we’ve done! George is not only very knowledgeable; he is also a fantastic storyteller, humorist, and excellent host! We learned so much about the city’s history, got great restaurant ideas, and suggestions about other interesting things to see in the city during our stay. The tour route is easy to navigate on the Segway (not a lot of “off-roading” like some other tours we’ve done in other countries) and there are a lot of photo opportunities. (George is a fantastic photographer as well! Ha! He’ll take great shots of you at points of interest!) I highly recommend taking advantage of this tour!

Best Segway trip ever!! What a way to see Reykjavík! - If you are looking for a fun way to spend a few hours exploring the sights in Reykjavík that you would likely otherwise not see, this is the tour for you! Whether you are a first time Segway rider or a seasoned pro, Reykjavík Segway Tours has you covered. Our guide George was FANTASTIC!! Due to the cooler weather my wife and I were the only riders to take the tour and we had a blast! We have been in multiple Segway tours around the world and hands down this was the best!! Before we began our tour, George gave us a safety review and short skills test to make sure we were indeed able to safely operate our Segways. We were provided with a helmet, and gloves were available if we hadn’t brought our own. We began our trip with a short tour of the old town area, with our first indoor stop at City Hall. Here we were given a restroom break and George showed us the huge 3D topographical map of Iceland and provided us a brief but detailed history of Iceland and Reykjavík in particular. After that short stop, George took us on an almost 9 mile journey through the streets of Reykjavík, showing us the well known sights like the Harpa Center and the Lutheran Church on the Hill, but he also showed us hidden statue parks, the historic building where President Regan and Mikel Gorbachev met to sign the peace treaty, a piece of the Berlin Wall and the sight of the original meeting place where all the women of Reykjavík would come on Saturdays to wash laundry and catch up on recent news. I know that laundry may not sound all that exciting, however, women continued to come to this site up until 1973! Now the hot water from this spring is used to provide water for the new community swimming pool. George was very well versed in the history of the area and had an effervescent personality, full of humor and wit. Even with the temperature hovering around 4 to 5c (low 40’sF) George made us forget about the cold and provided us with hours of fun and memories to cherish. Made all the easier with George proving to be a very experienced photographer! Every photo opportunity was like a photo shoot. With George using my phone to capture multiple pictures from multiple angles and heights every time!! We have some great photos to share with our friends! Tak Tak George!! You were such a joy to spend time with!!

Outstanding Reykjavík Segway Tour - Just finished a Segway tour with George. As always, a Segway tour is a great way to get an overview of a place. George was thorough and funny, with great facts on Iceland's history and a semi-true saga or two. Great experience that beginners or veteran riders will enjoy. Most highly recommended!

Fun, Safe, and Educational zip around town - We loved this Segway tour! It was the perfect amount of fun zipping around Reykjavik with lots of history and culture presented by the guide. We learned so much! He made sure we were comfortable with operating the machine and emphasized our safety before heading out. Reykjavik is a beautiful and clean city with kind people. We covered so much more ground than a walking tour would. Highly recommend this!!

A great time was had by all - George was fantastic! Equal parts knowledgeable tour guide, Tony award worthy actor and comedian, his top priority (after safety) was insuring our entire family had a great experience. Even pouring rain didn't dampen our experience (okay, maybe literally it did). Kudos also to Stephan the owner and to Iga for excellent communication when arranging the reservation. A class act. Highly recommended.
