Memorable Snaefellsness - First everything was super tidy, the whole itinerary was fulfilled, the schedule was punctual, and the beautiful landscapes obviously. But the Cora guide was the ultimate, and this is where I want to stop, because I think having a good guide is what makes the difference between the tour being nice or memorable, and I think this tour was memorable. It’s amazing how the experience changes when you get so good the context of each place you go, knowing that it’s not just a nice mountain or a nice church, there’s a whole historical detail, in the case of this geological tour, that makes the place envelop you in a different way. I mention all this because yesterday I did the golden circle tour with get your guide and it was not the same and partly because the guide was probably not the right one. This is why I can say that I loved this tour, it was in my heart and I lived it in a very special way, so thank you Cora!

Fantastic Day Tour - Great day out exploring the Peninsula. Absolutely loved the stories Oskar told us along the way. It was a fantastic insight into Icelandic culture. Each stop was different and equally breathtaking. We loved our day out 😊

Great day trip to the west coast - We looked for a last moment one day trip to finish our vacation and we found the perfect location. Tanya was a wonderful host that explained to us lots of interesting information. We specially enjoyed the seals beach and church mountain stops, wish we could have spent more time on them. It is a long day excursion, but scenery and stops are well worth it. It was also something different from the usual single day excursions from Reykjavik that we could find, since it wasn’t one going to the south of the island. If you have time I recommend this little scape.

Great tour to see another part of the country - It was a perfect tour for our last day in Iceland and see another part of the country. The Tanya guide was great, explained many things and curiosities and always willing to solve our doubts. We saw seals, a couple of nice churches and more beautiful places. Stops got short, but you spend all day practically.

Splendid Snœfellsjökull Peninsula Tour to do. - Excursion booked by Guide to Iceland. Very chatty driver, impeccable driving except on some roads (574), where potholes are so important that I hit the windows and my back is very damaged. Even asking him to slow down, the timing had to be respected. But it's the most beautiful of the circuits, wild, scenery, fewer tourists, cliffs of basalt columns, lava plain, black beaches, it's very authentic. Remember to bring your picnic because catering with a soup, a pancake for 2 was 70 euros....and a thermos of hot tea... Otherwise, I loved it but not my back.

Review of Troll.is - Snaefellsness Peninsula Tour (March 14, 2026) - My recent experience with Troll.is on the Snaefellsness Peninsula tour was disappointing. The guide's attitude was poor, driving skills subpar, and the itinerary felt rushed. Communication issues in English further hindered the experience. Overall, I would not recommend Troll.is for future tours.
