A Great Way To See Iceland - Don't let the weather deter you from an incredible journey. The day of our tour was mostly cloudy and rainy as we left Reykjavik, but we managed to have periods of clearing as we approached our sites. Our driver was an excellent resource of information about all things Iceland. To me, this is the best way to experience this breathtaking place. I can't imagine driving this route myself. I would never have seen or learned so much.

Go before things change - South Coast Tour is a must . There is so much to see from thundering and curtain waterfalls to black sand beach with sneaking waves, to spectacular stone formations , lovely lupines and breathtaking views . What can I say? Iceland should be on everyone’s travel list before more volcanoes erupt or the waterfalls dry up or the glaciers melt . Tour was organized and our driver/tour guide Leifur was excellent. Thank you Iceland for the beautiful memories you gave us .

Stressful, bad start; good experience in the tour - The meet up instructions were simply wrong. We almost missed the tour altogether. My ticket said that we would be picked up at our hotel at 9:00. In truth, we were supposed to be at a nearby bus stop at 8:30. Luckily, the guide contacted our hotel and we were able to meet up with the rest of the group. That said, the rest of the day was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and we were fortunate to have lovely weather. We saw everything we wanted to see.

CHECK THE PICK UP POINT IF YOU BOOK THROUGH GET YOUR GUIDE - IF YOU BOOK FROM GET YOUR GUIDE CHECK THE PICK UP POINT! We were told the wrong pick up point by get your guide and ended up missing the tour completely.

Need better pickup information. - Reservation confirmation was unclear on pickup point. It was not the Hotel Kvorsin, but Bus Stop 1. We had to taxi to terminal to catch our tour bus. Seats on minibus and the seat belts are very uncomfortable for a 10 hour trip. Air conditioning did not work. Guide was very good.

Horrible; Never showed up; Deserves Zero Stars - I would give this zero starts even. I waited outside at my hotel for 1 hour before the tour, requested hotel pick up and nobody showed up. I asked for a refund and it was denied. Buyer Beware. Made me waste an entire day of my trip and never got to see an area of Island that was on my bucket list. Wasted $362.38 which was never refunded back to me.

Completely Unreliable – I Was Never Picked Up, and I’m Not the Only One - I booked this tour for July 24 and waited outside my hotel from 8:30 AM, even though the pickup was listed as 9:00. I waited for over an hour. I called the local tour operator several times, but no one answered. At 9:30 AM, with the help of the hotel receptionist (who saw me standing outside the whole time), I finally reached someone — and they just told me, “The bus already left, and we can’t come back.” I thought it was just bad luck — but two days later, while waiting outside my hotel for a different tour, I overheard another guest speaking on the phone, very upset. She was in the exact same situation: booked this same South Coast tour, was never picked up, and was told the exact same excuse by the operator. She had also been standing outside the hotel for a long time with an elderly companion. That’s when I realized: this is not a one-time issue — it’s a recurring pattern. Later, I read more reviews and saw that many others have had the same problem: • No pickup • No contact • Same excuse repeated to different guests This is completely unacceptable. I lost an entire day of my trip to Iceland and was left stressed and disappointed. I do not recommend this tour or this operator. Viator should take this seriously and remove them from the platform.

Not a real tour - Never came to pick us up. No one at the company would answer the phone or chat. Huge waste of $245. And a day of my trip. Don’t do this trip.
