- Black Sand Beach - Stroll along the black sand and pebble beach of Reynisfjara. The beach features stacks of basalt columns that wall off surrounding cliffs scattered with caves. You will be awed by the incredibly powerful waves of the Atlantic ocean crashing on to the shore. Offshore you will see the Reynisdrangar pillars, basalt rock stacks that rise from the sea.
- Vik - Here we stop at a local restaurant for a lunch break at your own expense.
- Volcano Eyjafjallajokull - A volcano / glacier, which gained worldwide attention in 2010 when the ash cloud from an eruption stopped all flight traffic in Europe.

Excellent tour. A 2 hour... - Excellent tour. A 2 hour drive but well worth it and the tour guide was full of information. All the stops were amazing and I liked the variety of seeing waterfalls, a glacier and black sand beach.

Outstanding and comprehensive South coast - A fantastic overview of the south coast if you’ve already done the Golden Circle. In my opinion this is more spectacular. Pieter our guide was outstanding. He was clear with his expectations at each stop and explaining the practicalities of each stop. His explanations and stories of Iceland, the local culture, and each site we visited was informative and entertaining. We also enjoyed his humour especially with some of the troll stories. Our pick up and drop off to the cruise terminal went well.
My only point of dissatisfaction is the fact that the terminal where the buses left from which was Reykjavik Adventures (or something similar to that) required payment for the use of the toilet. It was THE only place out of two on the entire tour (and we stopped at about 8 places) that made us pay. That’s in pretty poor taste when we have to transition through there and we are paying for your tour! It just comes across as greedy. I’d prefer you added a few dollars to the price of the tour and didn’t tell us. It might seem small to you but we were rushing to get on the bus between our transfer from the pick up and then we had to figure out how to use the machine. A rude person darted in my husband’s entry just as he released the lock to go in. It was just stressful and greedy at the same time!

Tour company was very... - Tour company was very responsive when I had questions about pick up location and changes. Our tour operator, Ali, was very knowledgeable about Iceland culture and history. She was a very safe driver. We enjoyed our experience very much.

Good highlights of area,... - Good highlights of area, our guide Birgir was well informed but a little bit difficult to understand. The driver was not friendly and very strict, sometimes bordering on rude. The itinerary was excellent and good value. We were very excited to see many puffins at the beach stop. We found it interesting that the bus would not return us to bus stop 8, stating that a big bus cannot fit at that stop. However, we had gotten off and on big buses from that location several times.

Traveling many kilometers for a tour and not getting picked up - I booked a South Coast, Waterfalls, and Black Beach Tour from Reykjavik with Viator for Saturday, July 5th. The pickup was scheduled for outside the Fosshotel Raudara between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. I waited there from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and no one picked me up. I requested a refund for the activity but haven't heard back. Terrible experience. I wouldn't hire this company again, as they are also a middleman.

They'll leave you behind within 60 seconds - Be wary of Grayline, their staff are incompetent and think that leaving a pickup location within 60 seconds of the pickup time without a single attempt to communicate with a paying customer is acceptable.. seriously pathetic.
