Incredible views and experiences with Steinunn and Karol at the Southern Coast of Iceland - 11/10 stars! Incredible views and a great tour for all ages. Steinunn was extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding landscape history and tied in many interesting folklore tales and emphasized cultural importance of the areas with a very kind, informative, and genuine spirit. Karol was an incredible transportation guide, very respectfully keeping us on schedule and not rushing any of the experiences at all. Very high levels of professionalism from both guides. This tour felt very safe with them behind the wheel and guiding us through the landscape. Highly recommend these two individuals for future tours and all exploration endeavors outside of Reykjavik! Booked through Kommum conferences, BusTravel Iceland (transported in magiciceland bus with WiFi)

The tour was very... - The tour was very inclusive and the guide very knowledgeable, we were travelling by a clean, comfortable coach bus with wifi and usb phone charging ports. Wear comfortable shoes because it is as long as the time states, the weather can also be as unpredictable as expected (it was sunny at the black beach but hailed at the glacier). We stopped a couple of times in areas you could grab food and use washrooms, these areas had groceries stores if you didn’t want to buy a whole restaurant meal. There is so much to learn and our guide was kind enough to share her knowledge and point out even small details we may not have noticed on our own. Thanks for the awesome tour!

Well valued trip - Worth the money, I just wish we had a bit more free time in some of the stops and that the tour director had a less aggressive approach

100% recommend, good way to make the most of a short visit, family friendly - I can't recommend this tour highly enough. We were in town for a 48-hour "layover" between Canada and Europe and this was an excellent way to make the best of our short time there. Our guide, Darren was friendly, highly knowledgeable, very accomodating and did a great job of pacing out the day. The first and last bus rides of the day are the longest - 1.5 and 2 hours, respectively - and then the rest of the day is shorter drives between amazing landmarks. I recommend the lunch "cafeteria" at the back of the wool clothing store in Vik - expensive (like everything in Iceland) but delicious. We brought two kids and, with the help of some devices for the longer parts of the drive, they had a great time. Make sure to take advantage of restroom stops whenever available, especially before the long legs of the trip because there are no facilities on the bus. Weather was uncharacteristically clear for our trip, which made for better sight-seeing. Don't put too much weight on a good or bad weather forecast - things change quickly and are hard to predict in Iceland. Special short-out to our driver, Yusef, who kept us comfortable on the road!

South Coast Trip Iceland - Excellent trip with guide Darren and driver Sven (Baer)...sorry about spelling! Guide was excellent mix of informative and entertaining. Really enjoyed listening to him and the time passed quickly between stops. He was strict on time which meant we weren't waiting on other people to get on the bus after visiting a site and it maximised our time at the next location. We would have preferred to spend less time at the shop area and have more time at the glacier or one of the waterfalls. The Glacier was unbelievable and it was much more distinctive because there was no snow around it. We were planning to begin bringing groups over from Ireland as part of our Geography and Climate Action classrs, however we were disgusted to discover that Iceland still allows whales to be killed and mostly exported (but some are served in restaurants here!). We won;t be involced in future spending of money in this country until this intelligent and majestic creature is properly protected.

Traveling many kilometers for a tour and not getting picked up - I booked a South Coast, Waterfalls, and Black Beach Tour from Reykjavik with Viator for Saturday, July 5th. The pickup was scheduled for outside the Fosshotel Raudara between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. I waited there from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and no one picked me up. I requested a refund for the activity but haven't heard back. Terrible experience. I wouldn't hire this company again, as they are also a middleman. Booking reference: 1273217755

They'll leave you behind within 60 seconds - Be wary of Grayline, their staff are incompetent and think that leaving a pickup location within 60 seconds of the pickup time without a single attempt to communicate with a paying customer is acceptable.. seriously pathetic.
