Whales under the midnight sun - Whale watching was super fun especially under the midnight sun. The first trip, the smoke from the volcano blocked the majority of the midnight sun. But we are still able to see plenty of whale, both humpback and minke. I went a again when the sky had cleared. Great pictures, a great setting with the midnight sun. Also, they have warm coveralls to keep you warm and dry, if you are concerned about the temperature. They also provided pictures of the event that we were able to download.

Lots of whales - Was well organized and narrated. Took us out to the area and repositioned so whales were viewed from all sides of the ship.

A trip of a lifetime! - We had a fantastic trip out on the Elding on the 20th July. The crew were very informative and helpful. We saw plenty of whales, dolphins and sea birds. I was so mesmerised watching the humpback whale that I couldn't take photos and the team kindly sent us photos they took. Will definitely go back on the trip again if we are lucky enough to go back to Iceland. Thank you guys so much for a fantastic evening.

Awesome - Amazing close up views of a humpback whale giving us an 10 minute acrobatic show! A once in a life time view of this beautiful mammal of the sea.

- Evening is the best time to follow the whales and white line dolphins. In fact, the dolphins led us to the Humpback whales! Do not miss this opportunity if you don't mind a bumpy ride!

Amazing! - Amazing experience! We got to see minke and humpback whales in their natural habitat. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The company is also very respectful of the wildlife, which is important to me.

Wonderful whale tour - The whales showed up and put on a show. “Sunset” whale tour in the summer is a little golden light, but it was beautiful. Let me tell you, we were so lucky. At first there was an issue with the boat/dock so after half an hour at we had to switch. I get it things happen, but we moved to a medium sized boat. Hopes weren’t too high, but I had hoped to see one to two whales. Timing was on our side because when we got to where we could see whales, we were given a treat. I didn’t think we were going to see much, but the whales came through and we saw them. One kept jumping out of the water and breaching. We also saw a mom and calf whale that we were told was rare to see together because normally they aren’t still together by the time they get to Iceland. One whale just kept slapping its fin on the water. What we saw was beyond my hopes and dreams so this tour was definitely worth it and was a great way to end my trip in Iceland!

Well worth the time - The trip started in daylight and ended just as the sun was attempting to hit the horizon, which it didn't quite achieve. The journey North West out from the main quayside took about 45mins and was quite cold if not wrapped up. They tour supplied some overalls for anyone who underestimated this. There were lots of sightings of humpbacks whales but the main action happened as the sun set. Possibly the potential of being caught in some great photos being the whales' motives but who knows.
