Great whales but no Puffins. - Nice boat. They worked hard to track the whales without upsetting them. The guide was great at pointing out the whales. We thought we would see Puffins because we went past Puffin Island. But we only saw “dots” that might have been Puffins.

Great start to our trip! - What a way to start our adventures in Iceland! The pickup spot was easy to find in the cute little restaurant on the harbor. We were able to see lots of whales and even a few puffins who were just starting to make their way to the area. Be prepared for the cold if you stay out on the deck…especially with waterproof gloves!

Nice Trip If You’re Good On Boats - Cannot fault the staff, offered free ant sickness tablets and blankets to keep warm. We unfortunately discovered that we are not good on boats and spent most of the trip lying down in the lower deck. It was very choppy when heading out to see but nice and calm coming back. You can hear the guide anywhere on board thanks to the speakers so we heard that there was only 1 sighting of a small whale. We headed up to see but everyone was so squashed at the front of the boat that you couldn’t see a thing.

Recommended - We were very lucky in the weather, clear, without much wind, and since we arrived in the area we continuously saw a whale. Good luck. The boat was not too large and there was room to choose from on deck or deck (two levels).

Great experience, very nice boat, interesting and informative - Lovely boat, staff on board were great, very communicative so you didn't have to stay outside in the colder and brilliantly informative about the whales and did a great job finding and staying with the whale at a good distance - incredible experience seeing a humpback whale!

Check whale season first before paying. - Make sure it is whale season. We saw like two small minke whale tails and some dolphins. It was not what we expected and were disappointed. The crew and the boat were great and it is not their fault we didn’t see any whales, but I would definitely check the session before investing in this attraction .

Wrap-up warm and be on the lookout for the seals and whales! We saw a magnificent young humpback! - Didn't really know what to expect. Nature is nature, can't make a schedule with it, but we were lucky enough to see a beautiful humpback whale feeding and messing around in the cold waters! Plenty of seals too, just poking their heads above the water! The boat, the crew, and the organisation overall were good. Clear and simple instructions. Didn't like the feeling in the bar area - steamy windows, wet, hot... Not inviting when on a boat rocking about, but we stayed outside and were just fine. If we're back in "summer", I'd love to take part in this experience again. :)

Total disappointment - To be said that the weather was not the best, and many people were sick. But beyond this that can be absolutely subjective, we were 3 and a half hours on the boat to look for these whales but nothing, no sightings. We simply spotted some dolphins, at the end of the tour I thought we were offered to try again the following day instead for the staff everything had gone well and according to them we had managed to see beautiful DOLPHINS...
