Saw humpback whales! - I can't recommend this whale watching enough! My boyfriend and I went on one of the morning excursions in September and saw loads of wildlife, including the backs of some humpback whales. I especially recommend this tour group over others if you value environmental consciousness. They took great care to be environmentally friendly and gave the whales space to exist without crowding them--some other boats out there seemed a bit aggressive in their chase for wildlife. And this boat has a professional photographer on board who will send you whale pictures from your tour if you send the company an email!

There be whales - Really enjoyed the whale watching tour. It’s unbelievably cold out at sea, but the overalls they provide, while not the most stylish item of clothing we’ve ever worn, kept us very warm. Take a hat, snood and gloves, trust me you’ll need them. We sailed around for ages, looking for whales, at one point they heard on the radio there was one nearby, but it had moved on when we got there, so we sailed right out to a further bay and still no luck. The crew gave us an interesting commentary on the birds we saw, and whale behaviour while searching. At one point a couple of porpoises swam right beside us, just under the water, but it was very quick and I suspect we were about the only people that saw them. Anyway, we started to run out of time, so turned back, and we gave up and went inside to warm up. Just as we reached the harbour, the crew shouted there was a minke whale, we dashed up and got to see it really close for several minutes. Made the whole thing worth it. Oh, and after the tour they send you the photos they took, so you can concentrate on enjoying watching them rather than worrying about getting photos. Definitely recommended but make sure you wrap up warm and be patient.

Great tour with loving care and impressive sightings - We had an all around great whale watching tour. The crew was very pleasant, attentive and always respectful in dealing with the animals – without sensationalism. We were able to observe a minke whale, bottlenose dolphins and even puffins, which made the experience special. The information during the tour was interesting and well dosed, just right to take a lot without being overloaded. I would also like to highlight how friendly and helpful the team was towards my son, who was not doing so well in between. That really impressed us. An additional plus: The photos were provided to us afterwards – a nice reminder of this special trip. Clear recommendation!

An amazing experience! - Absolutely brilliant experience! Excellent that they offered sea sickness tablets for free, I did t know this and had already bought some before the trip. We got to see a Humpback Whale which was truly a magical experience. We were also able to email the company and had a link to the photos they took on our trip which was much appreciated as my photos weren’t the best.

Worst tour experience - The tour was confirmed super last minute only at 7am the day we were supposed to start the tour at 9am and had to arrive 15 minutes earlier to collect the tickets. It was so probably because they were not sure that it would be a good experience for their customers but still decided to go ahead. In the end, the tour had only 2-3 sightings of blows and nothing more. One of the most terrible experience and would avoid booking it.
