Whales on the bay - Splendid afternoon on the bay. We were fortunate to spend almost the entire time actually observing a pair of whales rather than just looking for them. Jitka, our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does.

Whale watching & W Museum in Reykjavik, Iceland - This tour is unforgettable! Very worth the money you pay for it. On first day we visited a wonderful museum with real size replicas of Whales, Dolphins, etc. Whale watching was cancelled due to bad weather but re programmed efficiently next day. The ship was very nice, "Andrea". They provide Free overalls and sea sickness tablets. Crew and services are excellent. It was freezing cold and we spent 3 hours and a half on this tour. The guide was very knowleadgable and took pictures you can download for FREE from their website. I'm fascinated by this adventure and would recommend it to all. This company is very professional. We saw plenty of whales and dolphins. Can not be more satisfied and happy!!

Very well done - We received a very warm welcome on board. Before the trip started, I would have liked a more detailed briefing, but unfortunately this was only provided after the boat had departed. Overalls are available, and I would have liked to have been told that these were self-service. This would also have freed up some space in the cabin for changing. All in all, however, I felt very comfortable and safe, and the guide explained everything well and clearly during the trip, making the time between whale sightings very entertaining. I also really liked her sense of humor! I had expected a little more from the exhibition at the museum, but that was just a bonus for me. However, certainly very interesting for younger children

- A wonderful experience, both visiting the Museum Whales of Iceland and the tour with the excursion boat Andrea. We experienced dolphins and whales live and were then able to download pictures taken by our tour guide during the trip for free. Highly recommended for us.

Incredible whale watching with Emil! - We had a fantastic whale watching tour with Special Tours – highly recommended! Our guide Emil was alone on board and did everything great – fun, warm and full of knowledge about whales. His positive nature was infectious, and he really made the tour special. We were incredibly lucky: several whales, even jumping whales – an absolutely magical experience! Thank you for this unforgettable experience – we would go along again immediately!

Map shows a different... - Map shows a different location across the street, make you put “special tour” in google map before you go. Other than that, the tour was great. We were able to see multiple humpback whales. They offer free suits if you are cold. The ride was also comfortable with lots of space to sit 💺. The museum was a 10-12 mins walk away. Make sure you plan ahead.

If you are especially interested in whales, do this. Everyone else, maybe - There was an opportunity to see some whales, and I did, but it was limited and brief each time over the three hour boat ride. Of course this experience varies by the day. And whales will never be visible above water for very long. I enjoyed the experience, but also won’t rave about it like it’s a must do. We went to the museum the following day. The museum offered an audio tour and some films, videos and exhibits to better understand and learn about whales. Perhaps visiting the museum first would have enhanced the whale watching experience.
