Akurey - During puffin season (early May to late August), the tour also visits puffins in their natural habitat on the islands of Akurey, Engey, or Lundey, just outside Reykjavík. The trip is brief, with about 5-10 minutes spent with the puffins. Puffins, auks, gannets, and a remarkable variety of other seabirds fill the skies and sea cliffs just minutes from the Old Harbour. Our RIBs are fast and small, allowing for a quick and close approach to the islands!
