Great afternoon riding horses! - We enjoyed our experience with our two guides. They gave clear directions and made the experience enjoyable for the comfort levels of our group. The scenery of the ride was nice, and the horses were very used to the trail and riders. They had weather appropriate gear and helmets available, along with choices of a hot drink at the end of your ride. We used a rental car to drive out, and the address was easy to use in Google Maps. We are really glad we chose to do this activity and appreciate our experience!

We had a great time... - We had a great time horseback riding on beautiful Icelandic horses. The whole team at the stable did wonderful helping those of us that were novice riders. The pick up and drop off from our bus stop made the adventure easy.

Great horseback riding experience outside of Reykjavik - Great experience. Don't need any horseback riding experience to do it. Horses basically know what to do and follow each other in a line. The lava fields and route were beautiful along the way. The guides were great and friendly.

The Ride of a Lifetime - Riding horses in Iceland is one the most memorable experiences you could have. The horses are gentle and well-trained and the guides are excellent helping you to get more comfortable the entire time.

Would ride again - Great horseback riding experience! Staff was very friendly and nice. They did a great job of making sure we were comfortable on the horses and throughout the ride. Great views outside Reykjavík through the volcano rocks. All around great experience and I would recommend it to anybody.

Great experience - Our guides were awesome and very knowledgeable and hopefull. A smaller group and it's good for no experience as well. You ride through nice nature and the horses are beautiful. Then you finished with a cup of coffee or chocolate before you go back to your hotel. Recommend this tour!

Nice ride - Solhestar has nice people who know thier horses. Viator confused our pick up at the hotel. But solhestar driver came quickly to pock us up after the confusement. Good job. I would book directly at Solhestar next time.

Was hoping for a more authentic experience - The Icelandic horses are amazing, very gentle and their tolt gait is a comfortable ride. The staff at the farm were kind but did not seem to be very organized and it seemed to lack upkeep (smelled from a 'manure hill'). The ride was nice but unfortunately the trail was near the highway for much of the trek so did not feel very natural until the lava fields were reached. Would venture to a more remote location next time.
