The best hot air balloon and tour experience in Cappadocia. - Would definitely add this to a must do must experience events list. The guides and drivers were exceptional, knowledgeable and experienced. Timing and duration was well adhered to.

Cappadocia; hire a guide and visit the caves. - The knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide, Atlas made for a wonderful tour. He artfully told the story of the origins of Christianity and the crucial development of the monasteries, and wove a tale of Roman influence that linked the archeological sites we visited. Truly inspiring. I so appreciate his willingness to answer questions, and to make sure we were grasping the story. His depth of knowledge is astonishing. The cave hotels are a must; wander the quiet side streets and dine at lovely restaurants and cafes tucked in amongst the rocks. An up-close look at Turkish rug making was eye-opening as well. Worth the detour.

Long day, but overall great experience - The Cave hotel was a unique experience. Enjoyed our stay there. The employees treated us like family. The balloon ride was amazing. I would just allow participants to have a break period to recover from the early 4 am balloon ride and tour.

Balloon cancelled - Excellent guide on the tours, hotel accommodation great and staff very helpful. Ballon ride cancelled due to weather, refund not received yet. From airport to hotel driver driving with a paper on top of steering wheel almost got us into an accident prevented by us alerting him of stalled vehicle on the road. The 2nd day when being picked up to go airport had to wait st the hotel, finally taxi picked us up to drive us to the shuttle office, another wait while waiting for other passengers, then picking up another couple at another hotel and then dropping off someone in town. This unacceptable.

1 night / 2 days Istanbul to Cappadocia - The trip was great! After a few initial changes from the tour operator with a change to the agenda and flights times, I was a little sceptical. But they were quick to notify me on WhatsApp with on-going communication. It started with day tour of Cappadocia with our amazing guide ‘Osman Imir’. His knowledge and courtesy for guests was exceptional. And the balloon ride morning experience was truly breathtaking. Oh, I mustn’t forget the hotel, the room and hospitality was glorious. Highly recommend this tour.

Not everything planned is being met. - We choose premium package 5 a.m. 1744€. Pick-up time wasn't 5, it was 3.30. We arrived at the hotel in capadoccia at 9, there was no room ready and we went around the town, little one. We were exhausted. The rest of the day there was not much to do but be in the hotel or hire some excursion. It was a rather lost day. Day 2. For the glove ride you are picked up at 5,20 and in the end we did not even see sunrise above. Between picking up people and when we got there the balloon wasn't swollen, they were late. After this breakfast at the hotel and pick up for the excursion at 9.15, then start after 10 a.m., pick up people again and wait for the rest. The tour of maximum 10 people turned out to be 14. The guide was nice and accessible. At the time of Lunch there were missing reserved menus, they arranged it at that time and 2 people, in this case we offered, had to sit apart from the group. As for what we visited and the explanations and attention of the great guide, we loved what we saw and found it very complete. My opinion: not to book the departure from Istanbul so early, it is not worth it and much time is wasted. Communication with the tour operator is smooth. Very expensive for what is offered and the reservation details are not met: from sunrise nothing and from maximum 10 people on the tour nothing.

More tragic than magic - I am writing to lodge a review and provide feedback regarding the Cappadocia Magic: 2-day package tour. Unfortunately, the itinerary that was confirmed at the time of purchase was not followed, and as a result, our experience was significantly diminished. The package advertised (and tour purchased) states the following: Cappadocia, a region of Turkey, captivates visitors with its otherworldly landscapes. The Cappadocia Magic package offers a chance to explore this enchanting destination over two days. Travelers can enjoy the region’s rich history and unique geological formations, with the option to soar above it all in a hot air balloon. Whether seeking cultural discoveries or breathtaking aerial views, this package promises an unforgettable experience. But what else awaits those who embark on this Cappadocian adventure? A 2-day all-inclusive Cappadocia adventure package from Istanbul, with optional hot air balloon ride and accommodation in boutique cave hotels. Explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, pottery villages, and the unique "fairy chimneys" of Cappadocia during semi-private tours. Savor local cuisine and flavors, with vegetarian options available, as part of the package. Moderate physical fitness is required, and medical conditions should be discussed before booking, especially for the hot air balloon ride. The hot air balloon ride, weather-permitting, offers panoramic views of the stunning Cappadocian landscape during a one-hour flight. The Cappadocia Magic package offers travellers a comprehensive 2-day adventure in the captivating region of Cappadocia, Turkey. Priced at an inclusive rate, the package includes round-trip flights from Istanbul, overnight accommodation in charming boutique cave hotels, and ground transfers for exploring the area’s key sites. Travelers can opt for an exhilarating hot air balloon ride, weather permitting. With a maximum group size of 15, the tours provide a personalized experience. The itinerary is designed to showcase Cappadocia’s unique lunar landscapes, historic cave dwellings, and traditional pottery-making. Vegetarian meal options are available upon request. On the first day (September 3rd, 2025) no planned experiences were delivered at all despite us arriving in Urgup after midday. Rather, we received an email advising us that the first day was a “free Day” with absolutely no tours, experiences provided. Wee were left to our own devices to navigate and find things to do in Urgup. This was extremely disappointing, given the proposed itinerary and that that we had specifically chosen this package for the advertised activities and the opportunities to explore upon arrival. Later in the evening we received another email with the itinerary for the 2nd day with the tour scheduled to commence at 11am and finish at 4pm (5 hours including an hour for lunch). Whilst we had not opted for the Hot Air Balloon (which was subsequently cancelled0 we still expected a much earlier pick up given the number of sites we expected to see. On the second day (spetmber 4th, 2025), major highlights listed in the itinerary were not provided. Instead, valuable time was diverted to unlisted sakes opportunities in rug and ceramic shops, which felt like wasted hours rather than meaningful travel experiences. This was not what we paid for, nor what was promised. Despite the itinerary mentioned highlights and sites in the packages, this is how our 2-day tour eventuated. Day 1 Dropped in Urgup and advised we had a “free day” Day 2 Picked up at 11am and driven to the Pigeon Valley where we stayed for 30 minutes Driven to the Goreme Open Air Museum where we HAD TO PAY FOR ADMISSION ($50 euro each ) - Additional admission fee ($6 euro each) to enter Dark Church (Karanlik Kilise) We stayed at the site for 90 minutes Driven to a ceramic workshop (not on itinerary) to witness ceramic-making and provide with “shopping opportunities: to purchase goods 45 minutes Taken to Avanos Oren Yeri for a 1-hour lunch Driven to a Carpet/Rug weaving workshop where we viewed women working on looms, locked into a display room with 4-5 salespersons showing and trying to sell us rugs ( 1 hour) Transported to Devran Valley were due to the time we were advised :”you have 5 minutes only to take some photos” before being transported back to accommodation in Urgup. We did not see or experience any of the following Ortahisar Uchisar Castle Keslik Monastery Sobesos Ancient City Kaymakli Underground City Arguably the main highlights of any tour of the Cappadocia region We are extremely disappointed that our 2-day tour was in fact a 5-hour tour comprising of a 1-hour lunch and 2 hours for sales opportunities for ceramics and caret producers. Having travelled though Cappadocia before this tour was far from acceptable.
