After a brief drive, we ascend the scenic Filerimos Hill, where we visit the revered Our Lady Monastery and the remains of the ancient acropolis of Ialyssos, one of Rhodes Island’s trio of ancient cities. Attendees can stroll down a ‘Golgotha’, a tree-lined path displaying a collection of shrines explaining the Holly Passion. This pathway brings visitors to a grand and magnificent cross, from the summit of which one can appreciate the breathtaking views of villages and verdant valleys spread generously around.
