• Mandraki Harbour - The Mandraki harbor with its impressive monumental buildings built by the Italians. Mandraki harbor has been a harbor since antiquity. The Knights of Rhodes moored their fleet in this harbor and today it houses modern yachts.

The sculptures of the Rhodian Deer, a stag and a doe, stand on slim columns on either side of the Mandraki Harbor entrance. It is believed that the statue of Colossus once stood here. Today these two charming Rhodian deer sculptures serve as the guardians of the Port.

The Three Windmills were used in the past to grind grains brought from vessels that moored in the harbor of Rhodes. There used to be more windmills, possibly 13 or 14 but now only three remain and they have been extensively renovated offering a great opportunity for instagrammable photos!

• Aquarium of Rhodes - Hydrobiological Station - The next highlight of our tour is passing in front of the Underwater Marine Aquarium. The aquarium of Rhodes is a research center, aquarium and a museum. It was built in the 1930s, when the island was under the Italian rule and currently functions under the administration of the National Centre of Marine Research. If you want to visit the Archaeological Museum, you can make all necessary arrangements with your guide (entrance fee for the museum 6 euros-optional activity). You will get the opportunity to travel for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the Medieval history of the island, walking through the famous Street of the Knights all the way up to the Grand Master’s Palace.
