• Medieval City - The tour begins with a drive around the walls of the Old Town of Rhodes, the largest inhabited medieval town in Europe. Constructed in the 1300s by the Knights of the Order of St. John, the Medieval Town of Rhodes is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If desired, the tour can be extended by an hour to allow for personal exploration of the Old Town.
• Mandraki Harbour - At Mandraki Harbour, we will pause at the historic site where the legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood, celebrated as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
• The Acropolis of Rhodes - Our next stop offers a stunning panoramic view of the city of Rhodes, followed by a walk through the Temple of Pythian Apollo, the Ancient Stadium, and the Amphitheatre.
• The Church of the Annunciation - We will also visit the Church of the Annunciation, the largest Orthodox church in the town, renowned for its exquisite handmade wall paintings.
• Savvas Ceramics - Upon request, we can visit a pottery factory to observe the ancient art of ceramic making. Additionally, a stop at a gold factory can be arranged for those interested in purchasing unique jewelry as a souvenir.
• Agios Pavlos Beach - Before departing from the village of Lindos, we will stop for photos at one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, offering a breathtaking view.
• Village of Lindos - Upon reaching Lindos, we will spend a few moments atop the hill to capture the spectacular views and take memorable panoramic photos before proceeding to the village square.
• Acropolis of Lindos - The driver will drop you off just outside the entrance to the village of Lindos. You will have at least an hour to explore the narrow streets of this traditional village. Ascending the winding paths will lead you to the Acropolis at the top, where you will be rewarded with dramatic views, rich history, and excellent photo opportunities (entrance fee 20 Euro per person). The Acropolis in Lindos is the second most popular in Greece, following the Parthenon in Athens. The driver will meet you at the same location where you were dropped off.
