- Rincón - Begin your adventure at our dive center located on Road 115, the sole physical dive shop in the vicinity. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and watch a training video that outlines everything you’ll learn and practice in the water, ensuring you’re well-prepared for your underwater experience. Next, you’ll be fitted with the appropriate scuba gear — mask, fins, tank — and meet with your instructor for a briefing on marine life and eco-awareness. You’ll discover what to expect on the reef, understand how these ecosystems function, and learn how to navigate the water without causing any disturbance.
Afterwards, you’ll drive your own vehicle, following your instructor for a short five-minute trip to the beach entry point.
Once in the water, your instructor will guide you through essential scuba skills in the shallow areas — such as mask clearing, breathing techniques, and buoyancy control — before you venture out to explore a vibrant coral reef, diving to a depth of up to 12 meters / 40 feet. Your instructor will accompany you throughout the entire experience.
The adventure concludes back on the beach.
Total duration: 3–4 hours.

No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore further. This is an opportunity to breathe underwater, discover a vibrant coral reef, and experience scuba diving before deciding on a full certification course.
Training takes place at an authentic facility with certified professional instructors, offering a comprehensive briefing on marine life and ecology. Groups are limited to a maximum of four people per instructor, ensuring a thorough and unrushed experience, unlike those conducted from a truck.
All dives are conducted as shore entries from the beach, eliminating the need for a boat and the risk of motion sickness. Entering from the sand provides a more relaxed start and is ideal for travelers who prefer to avoid boats.
Participants will dive at Tres Palmas Marine Reserve and Black Eagle Beach, two of Rincón’s most breathtaking underwater locations.
Swimming ability is required. While prior snorkeling experience is recommended, it is not mandatory.
