WHAT TO EXPECT:
- NO BOAT IS REQUIRED to access the prime snorkeling spots. Your guide will lead you from the shore directly to the heart of the marine reserve.
- Arrive at the dive center at the time specified on your reservation for check-in.
- Meet your guide for professional equipment fitting and a briefing on the location and local marine life.
- Follow the guide in your own transportation to the tour entry point (approximately 5 minutes from the dive center).
- The tour lasts about 3 hours in total, including 1 hour in the water.
IDEAL FOR:
- Comfortable swimmers (beginner snorkelers are welcome)
- Fun for the whole family. For children under age 10, please contact the dive center for personalized booking assistance.
- If your group’s number of participants exceeds the available online booking quantity, please call the Dive Center.

Meet at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, Rd 115, Km 12.0, in Rincon for check-in and professional equipment fitting. Thereafter, snorkelers self transport to the entry at Tres Palmas Marine Reserve (5 min drive). Sorry, insurance restrictions do not allow passengers to ride with guides.

Jorge was a fantastic... - Jorge was a fantastic guide. He showed us a shark and cool things on the reef. We enjoyed our time snorkeling and looking at fish.

Best Ever Experience - My family and I had an amazing experience. The guide was informative, reassuring, and punctual. We learned about the conservation efforts to care for the reef as well. We saw many colorful fish and swam with the sea turtles. It is an overall excellent experience!

Beautiful reef and room to swim - This was a great snorkeling experience. We were able to see 2 turtles and a baby turtle! It was a great area to snorkel due to limited amounts of people being there and rich sea life in the area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I felt better prepared to snorkel after her info session. One thing I will point out is the excursion says 3 hours but it’s more like 2 hours in the actual water.

A+ experience in Rincon! - I'm so glad that Rincon Diving and Snorkeling had openings for us! I was with my husband and 2 kids (ages 16 and 12) and we had snorkeled once before, the kids not at all. It is a little daunting swimming out in the ocean, but when on vacation, you have to do cool things! Shawn was our instructor... she is super chill, full of knowledge, funny, and engaging. She took us to Black Eagle Beach in Rincon, and we saw some cool things!!! 2 or 3 sea turtles, an eel, lots of crazy beautiful fish (the parrot fish was my favorite), the huge tarpon was amazing, and all the coral. I wanted my kids to really experience Puerto Rico and snorkeling was part of that - things that we don't have in Indiana. :)
Don't worry if you haven't ever snorkeled before... the brief lesson covers it. I think the timeframe was just the perfect amount. Right when I was thinking "Ok I am done," we were heading back.

Give Shawn a raise! - The crew was very nice and attentive! We had a wonderful time, we saw a turtle, a nurse shark and a bunch of fish. Our guide Shawn was amazing! My friend was very scared and Shawn was so understanding and helped her overcome her fear. We would do it again and definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

Great Time Snorkeling - We had a great time snorkeling seeing all the aquatic life and learning about the reefs in Puerto Rico - even saw a big turtle!

The snorkeling tour was... - The snorkeling tour was good. We saw about 5 turtles, which is the thing i wanted to see the most. The thing that did surprise me, was for a Marina Reserve, there wasn't that many fish. And other than the turtles, we really didn't see that much. But all in all, we did enjoy ourselves. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it said it was approximately 3 hours, but we were out in 2 (only in the water for about an hour).
