Rustic Charm at the Bamboo Beach Club - We enjoyed our tour with Robert and Tee! Tee wore many hats from picking us up from the port and traveling with us on the bus to the beach club to serving us an amazing Jamaican feast to getting us back in time for our departure with time for a stop at a great souvenir shop! Robert gave us a nice narrated tour along the way and drove very safely! We all enjoyed our time and had no problem finding great seats in the VIP section even on spring break! The beach was rustic but with great food and drinks and pretty views. Beer and Champagne was extra but signature drinks created by the club were plentiful.

Hostess with the mostest Chris-Anne :) - We did this as an excursion with Virgin Voyages along with Dunns River falls and it was a great time! Chris-Anne was a great host!

Fun, fun time with sister - The trip was wonderful, the Jamaican waters were beautiful and was able to snorkel and see beautiful tropical fish. Bright blue and yellow fish were beautiful. The food and drink of Jamaica was interesting to experience. Lia was so beautiful, upbeat and smart. She make the world a better place!! Robert was our driver, he was great as well. Beach Club in Jamaica! - we were on a tour from NCL cruise line. Princess, our hostess, was most attentive. It is a nice little coat. The beach is a little bit rocky so not really a swimming beach, which was a bummer. we were very comfortable in our loungers. The food was wonderful! And the drinks were plentiful. Princess was a great hostess. She talked on the drive over and told us all about the history of Jamaica and the places that we were passing was very interesting. She checked on us make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It was a nice relaxing afternoon in Jamaica.

"Okay" Beach Club, but too far from Montego Bay for a short port day - Not ideal from Montego Bay on a short port day Nice host, good food, and friendly service, but overall this excursion wasn’t a great fit from Montego Bay given the long travel time and limited beach time. Our port day was shortened and we arrived late due to a medical emergency on our ship. We were shuttled about 1 hour 5 minutes to Bamboo Beach Club. Our host, Princess, was wonderful—funny, informative, and very personable. However, with only about five hours in port, nearly half the time was spent organizing and traveling, which left our actual time at the beach quite short. There are other cruise ports much closer, so I wouldn’t recommend doing this excursion from Montego Bay on a short stop. On arrival we were greeted with rum punch and told we’d been upgraded to VIP access due to the shortened visit, which was a thoughtful touch. Lunch was served shortly after we settled onto beach loungers; the food was very good, though a bit cold by the time it reached us. The beach itself is a small rocky cove with a reef about 30 yards out—water shoes are a definate must if you plan on getting into the water. Snorkeling wasn’t great due to seaweed and limited marine life (obviously not the club’s fault). Service was friendly throughout. Drinks are included initially, but service slows after lunch and bar prices are high (about $8 for a Red Stripe). The music setup was a bit odd, with only a few songs repeatedly playing. Departure felt rushed, with little warning before boarding the bus. Traffic into town was heavy and we returned to the ship late. Since we booked through the cruise line, this wasn’t a concern, but it could be stressful for independent bookings. Overall, the staff did their best and the food and service were good, but the distance from Montego Bay and limited time made this less enjoyable than expected—especially for a first visit to Jamaica.

Jamaica VIP Bamboo Beach Club from cruise port - We booked The VIP Bamboo Beach Club for Cruise excursion.. 4 of us .. we never felt like we got VIP treatment for the money. First of all we were the very last excursion called to leave the cruise ship/ then waited on tour bus for 1 hour/ last bus to leave parking lot/ 1 hour ride to beach/ no welcome Champagne drinks as advertised/ ran out of Rum Punch/ food just ok/ beach area very small but pretty/ less than 2 hours ( when we all just started enjoying ourselves) loaded us back on bus/ THEN stopped at shopping area( no one really wanted to stop. Few ppl exited bus) 25 more minutes sitting on hot bus/ another 35-40 minute ride back to cruise port/ ppl couldn’t wait to get back on the ship.. poor advertisement.. NO VIP treatment/ totally wasted a beautiful day in Jamaica.
