Highly recommended kyak experience to the Peanut Island - It was a fun kayak trip with Filipe! We went on kayak to the Peanut Island which is really nice area where you can walk around the island and explore nature and local animals. Highly recommended!

Would not go again - I booked this trip after another cancelled on us last minute. We were pretty disappointed but tried to make the best of it. I now see why most of these tours only take place first thing in the morning because the boat traffic is crazy. We kayaked a short distance to the island and when getting out I asked if we needed to bring our shoes and was told no. In the guides defense I think they were use to coming earlier which is why they probably thought we wouldn't need them. We walked over a mile I would guess on the hottest brick, sand and wood I've ever felt on my feet. Literally didn't know if I'd be able to make it. Everyone in our group including the guides were struggling to walk on it. When you would try to walk in little grassy patches there were little weeds that had spurs on them so I got a couple of those in my feet as well. I literally can not express how hot the ground was. I thought we'd have blisters on our feet for sure because it legit HURT. You couldn't even enjoy the island because we were more worried about where we could find shady spots to step so please if you do this tour make sure you bring shoes. We saw very little on the island, it was basically a camp ground. When we finally made it back to our kayaks we had no time to chill in the water, we had to grab our kayaks and take off right away. We went a very short distance to a sand bar and had to get out and pull our kayaks the rest of the way back. The whole trip we saw one crab and one starfish. It also said we'd get a free video of our trip but we didn't get anything. The guides were very nice and I don't blame them for the hot streets etc because I don't think they were informed well but I was extremely disappointed that we spent that much money to have our feet burned and drag our kayaks all the way back plus not get a video. I hate leaving a bad review because again the guides were very nice but I would not want anyone else to invest that kind of money for the experience we had. We do a lot of tours and things like that in different states and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had so far. I gave it a two star strictly because of the guides. If our kids would have been with us, there is no way we would have made it around the island because they would have been in tears from the heat on their feet. We had to laugh to keep from crying.
