- Peanut Island - Embark on a 90-minute Private Paddle Boarding Adventure to Peanut Island with a South Florida native and expert naturalist. Departing from our meeting point, participants will paddle board to Peanut Island, keeping an eye out for spotted eagle rays, manatees, sea turtles, and vibrantly colored sea stars along the way. Upon arrival at Peanut Island, the adventure continues through a natural mangrove trail, a man-made snorkeling lagoon, or to the island’s east side.
During the journey to Peanut Island, participants will cross a boat channel and may encounter currents or winds. Windy conditions can add to the challenge, but rest assured, the experienced guide will be there to assist if needed.
In the winter months, the search for manatees, who migrate to this area for warmer waters, adds to the excitement. At high tide, Peanut Island boasts some of the most stunning crystal-clear, aquamarine waters in South Florida.
Participants must be at least 13 years old to paddle on their own board. Some experience with paddling (paddle board, kayak, or canoe) is recommended.
For those new to paddling, the Jupiter Location is suggested for a more beginner-friendly paddle boarding experience.
