Into the Heart of the Desert

The sun was just beginning to rise over Riyadh as I embarked on an adventure that promised to be unlike any other. The “Edge of the World: Cave & Desert Adventure” was calling my name, and I was ready to answer. As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve seen my fair share of breathtaking landscapes, but the allure of the desert and the mystery of the caves were too tempting to resist.

Our guide, Alghamdi Mohammad, was a beacon of knowledge and enthusiasm. His passion for his country was infectious, and his attention to detail was impeccable. From the moment we set off, he ensured our comfort and safety, checking in with us regularly and providing fascinating insights into the history and geology of the region.
