- Our adventure includes a 25-minute walk along a local trail, where you will encounter some of the 240 species of native plants and trees, as well as various animals like the coqui, reptiles, and endemic birds.
- Enjoy the refreshing natural forest pools and capture stunning photographs of the breathtaking waterfalls.
- Ascend to 2000 feet while taking in the magnificent panoramic views of Puerto Rico’s eastern mountain range.

- Not Recommended for those with mobility issues, trail requires the use of your hands at certain points and the ability to crouch and reach down to the floor.
- In General this tour is not suited for the elderly or the very young due to the difficulty of the trail, however individuals in good physical condition regardless of age can complete the trail and reach the waterfalls.

Happy Hiking With Harold! - Harold was a fantastic guide. Challenging trail but H has I down pat and my wife who recently had knee surgery was in good hands. We had a great time on this tour and Garold was a big part of that great time. The waterfall and cool waters at the end of the trail was worth it. We had a Perfect day in Puerto Rico., truly magical

Best time - Highly recommend! My husband and I with our 2 kids (11 and 14) had the best time. So glad we did this rather than the busy rainforest tours. Harold was the best guide- super friendly and so knowledgeable. We wore our bathing suits under our clothes. Do not wear sneakers you care about as there is A LOT of mud. We packed water shoes for swimming and the waterfall. No need for bug spray which surprised me but we all good. You are dry by the time you head back to the car so we didn't end up needing a change of clothes. Amazing views and we stopped at a local road side BBQ for chicken skewers and empanadas. 10 out of 10. The terraine is a little rough so wouldn't recommend if you have bad knees.

Amazing Day Trip, Waterfalls, Caves, & Eats - We’re in PR for spring break and wanted a day away from our resort to see more of Puerto Rico. PRGT helped us plan a trip to hike a waterfall, tour a huge cave, and end with a later lunch with local fare by the beach. The entire excursion was more than our family could have imagined. Harold is an extremely knowledgeable guide, sharing historical facts and showing us beaches and food stalls that we never would have known about or visited. Harold was especially kind with our kids (3 & 6yo) and made sure the tour stops and travel times were suitable for their needs.
We highly recommend PRGT and Harold, and we will definitely book another excursion the next time we visit!

Waterfall hike and island tour - Harold was an amazing tour guide, very informative and passionate about the island. Took us off the beaten path for a great waterfall hike and authentic island experience. Highly recommended!

Not safe! - Was not what was advertised/expected. After reading previous reviews and seeing photos, I felt confident booking this tour for me, my husband, and teen sons. There are pictures of young children, older adults and even someone holding a baby. I thought that we would be safe. What began as a normal muddy hiking trail turned into through a treacherous “trail” to a muddy raging river and waterfall where we were unable to swim due to the currents. Yes, I expected mud but did not expect to be climbing on large, slick rocks next to a RAGING river which was in no way safe. My husband and I both fell at different points in the hike. He was unharmed but when I slipped on a rock, I hit my head on another large rock. Not a pleasant experience and definitely do not want another family making this same mistake. We wasted our one day in port on our cruise on this excursion and the evening was spent in the medical center on the ship receiving care. HAD we been told upfront the conditions of the waterfall and trails, we would have happily chosen to go to the beach. Our main concern with this excursion is everyone’s safety as ours was put at risk and it could’ve been so much worse.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about history and plants. He did take pictures of us and the car was nice and clean. He did make a stop by a local area to get some food on the way back to port but we were rushed to eat in the car with the windows down as we were approaching our 4 hour tour time limit. Please learn from our experience and always ask how the conditions are before you spend the time hiking only to realize that it’s completely unsafe. Obviously, they will not cancel for unsafe conditions.
