Hierve el Agua - Arriving early at Hierve el Agua is one of the highlights, allowing visitors to enjoy stunning views, capture beautiful photos, swim without crowds, or hike in the refreshing morning air. It is important to note that due to the way the natives manage this park based on their traditions, guiding services are not available here. However, the walk to the pools and along the paths for breathtaking views is straightforward; remember to bring bathing suits, towels, and comfortable walking shoes!

Zona Arqueológica de Mitla - A guided tour will be conducted at this small yet magnificent archaeological site! Mitla is unique for its impressive architecture featuring beautifully carved designs on the walls. Rancho Zapata - The next stop is this historic hacienda for lunch! The restaurant serves delicious Mexican and Oaxacan cuisine, including traditional moles, handmade tortillas, delightful soups, Tlayudas, quesadillas, and various local dishes with beef or vegetarian options!

Santiago Matatlán - At this traditional distillery, guests will learn about the Mezcal production process, from the different types of agave plants, cooking, fermentation, to distillation. All production is artisanal, and locals will demonstrate how to drink it; be prepared to try many varieties!
(Drive 30 minutes from the Mezcal distillery to the next stop) - Teotitlán del Valle - To conclude the day, a visit to a local workshop run by indigenous families is planned; they continue to work with the traditional process of making wool rugs. They will explain the materials used, all the tools, the weaving technique, and how they derive colors using natural pigments. Questions and photos are encouraged, and there will be an opportunity to visit their gallery to admire the final products and support them!
