The combo trip was... - The combo trip was amazing!! It was a full fun filled day. Everyone at each stop was very nice polite and welcoming. The zip lining crew was amazing as well!!!

Don’t miss out!! - Awesome day! Water taxi from San Pedro. Van ride to the tour. Elvin is absolutely amazing! Super friendly- stopped for coffee/restroom break along the way! Zip line was fun but short (6 zips). Cave was the best - water was refreshingly (aka cool). Great tour along with attention to detail and points of interest! Slow pace - never rushed. Elvin was amazing - did I already say that? Eric was learning the ropes and he did great job too! Belizean chicken lunch was delish! Belikin beer available for purchase. Small group for safety control. Really fun time had ny all!!

We got Elvin!!!! - We got Elvin!!! That's right, Elvin was our tour guide and he didn't disappoint. There's a reason he was voted tour guide of the year and he proved it. Our tour started with a flight from San Pedro to Belize City and it was fogged in and we were worried we wouldn't make the tour since our flight was almost an hour late. But no man left behind must be their motto because they waited and held up the tour for us. Elvin was just fountain of knowledge and local information. He didn't hesitate at all our questions and lingering around the sites. Because we had a late start we had to rush but Elvin never made us feel rushed or like we were missing out on anything. He was even gracious enough to impart information and knowledge to other tourists around us that weren't part of the tour. And when he said we were getting a homemade lunch I assumed a local hot spot but it was actual homemade, hot, delicious, Belizean food. He really painted the picture for the Mayan site, cheered for us during the zip lining ( mine and my husbands favorite part!) and regaled us with stories on the cave tubing. All in all it was one of the highlights of our trip and would highly recommend to everyone. We're still trying to figure out how to adopt Elvin into the family. And thanks to Kim who kept in contact with us and neurotic selves (apparently her replies were going to the junk mail and we just kept missing them.)

10/10 Would Recommend - First of all, let me just say this company was very professional working with me despite the issue that I had. I was booked on the tour prior to this one that got canceled. My day was ruined and my disappointment was an immeasurable. Not wanting to give up, I went on TripAdvisor and found the same tour with this company. However, after a phone call, I found out that the tour that I book wasn’t available that day. The manager, however, offered me two other tours instead. I chose this one because it was very similar to my original tour, just a different ruin to explore. he even gave me a refund partially because this one was a little bit different than the original. Now until the tour itself. Our tour guy was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The day was full of offense. They were very memorable. Everyone in my group, including myself, had a blast. And his added bonus we had time to see a few additional things on our way to our destinations, of course I cannot recommend this tour enough 10 out of 10, we recommend.

This was a very fun and... - This was a very fun and active tour. Our guide was very helpful and an excellent driver making sure we stayed on schedule. Would highly recommend!

Altun-ha, zipline, cave tubing and ATM cave - Elvin was our guide and he was fantastic! He took care of everything throughout the day. Altun-ha was amazing, ziplining was fun, and the cave tubing was relaxing. Upclose took care of everything from booking tours to details throughout the tours. We also did the ATM cave with Norman as our transportation guide and Rose as our cave guide. Both were great to work with. We had one hiccup in water taxi transfers and Vivienne took care of it immediately. When we come back to Belize I will book tours through Upclose again. I highly recommend them.

Best day with Alvin - We had Alvin and he was awesome. He had a lot of information to offer and kept us on a tight schedule so we made our ferry on time. He was also a great driver! Our lunch was great. The adventures were fun and safe, and there were no hidden expenses. We had a great time, highly recommend.

Interior Belize Excursion: 2025 February, Myan Temples, Zip Line, Cave Tubing - Correspondence was always timely and expectations were clear from Tripadvisor as well as our local tour company. Our tour guide Elvin was very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely tour with UpClose Belize again.

Great experience with UpClose Belize - Had a wonderful time on this tour! It is a full day. The temples at Altun Ha were amazing. You can climb some of the structures and the view from the top is beautiful. Lunch with local Belizian food, then zip lining through the jungle tops. Be prepared to climb a bit here to the top and steep at times but there are steps in the mountainside. Once down the zipline we took a nice walk through the trees to the river caves. Floating on the calm river through the caves was such an experience! So beautiful and relaxing. Our guide Alvin was the best! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Alvin would point out points of interest and provided education and information at each site. Even had a great playlist for the ride back to the ferry terminal end of day!

Exceptional excursion and tour guide - Our tour guide Elvin T made this a spectacular day. His knowledge of the history of Belize, the Mayan ruins and the caves was out of this world. If you have the opportunity to go make sure you request Elvin. You won’t be disappointed.
